Nice video and catch on 4-6-4 and Military train with NS power!🛤🚂
Hi, thanks for this Rail Recap. I liked seeing the CP 2816, especially her large diameter Drivers. It would to see her at speed.
Amazing work, Thanks! Was a real nice sight to see 2816
That is so cool. I'll have to see if I can catch it when it makes the return tour! Houston is my neck of the woods!
She is beautiful! Got to chase her alot and it was amazing
Beautiful
Thank's for identifying the power, it helps.
Y'all do some great work! 😁
0:25 this is why the Tour train left Mexico earlier than expected, because people don't understand how to respect boundaries
That’s a lot of power in that beautiful CP consist.
I chased it from Kendleton to Robstown,it was such fun.
Great Job! The VIA Train I saw it in Kernsey Nebraska and Roshelle Illinois! What Subdivision did it Take to get to Blue Island???
Kearney*?
Canadian Pacific 2816 woo!😃
I was surprised to see the former Southern Pacific 3/4 Dome car in this consist. Might have to run down to Houston and catch the return trip.
Yo, do you know if the excursion is taking the same route back?
@@lets-go-larson5 I do not know for sure, but I would think so as it is using the former KCS mains for the tour.
@@allenroberts874 do you know what time it will be coming back?
It would have been funny if you did a fake out and say they were waiting for the Sunset limited that came through about an hour ahead of 2816
That steam locomotive was involved of a collision with a girl in Mexico a few days ago
That was a long consist of the CP passenger train.
I believe that the Military train is heading to Fort Hood, TX. And it’s origin is from Galveston, TX
Damn, i didn't realize 2816 came through Houston. Too bad it wont look the same on the return after mexico.
Probably heading to FT Hood
Well worth it
That military train if heading north was probably going up the Galveston Sub to Fort Hood. (I REFUSE to call it by any other name. The history MUST BE PRESERVED and retold so it is never repeated.)
Good video! The whistle on the Empress is terrible tho.
BNSF 280 was mislabeled during its rebuild. it is an SD75I. BNSF 276- 299 are SD75Is. before the renumbered it was 8276 - 8301....all were SD75I's. SD75Ms were 8200 - 8275.
Fort Sam Houston
hey everyone!
Ah yes, the now deadly 2816.
The Nuclear Fuel Train is heading to a Nuclear Power Plant, and the Military Train is heading to some Government facility.
I'm sure by now you've realized the VIA sets have only one locomotive.
technically the Cab car does sort of count as one
@@Elliottblancher In the eyes of the law it most certainly is.
So we're just gonna forget the fact that 2816 hit somebody
Why should we try to remember such a horrible thing
@@Texasrailfan89he was not trying to make people remember what happened he was just wondering why no one is talking about it
You make it sound like it was the trains fault...
@@scottyblades666 exactly.
@@Rosettasweitzer still. People did talk about it within 24 hours but #1 it was in Mexico so it’s not a big deal to us in the United States. #2 the past is the past
