It's a graphic improvement to a obscure fighting game developed by Hummer Team, whose only connection to Street Fighter is the title. At this point, the hack contains the following changes:
● Edited title screen (thanks to Jackic for his help). Now, the name shown refers to their last known version, where references to the Capcom franchise were omitted, becoming known as “The Legend”, or “Fighter Legend”.
● The character portraits have been updated with an anime style design, on the selection screen and on the Versus screen.
● Except for the sprites, everything (backgrounds, health bars…) has been updated to give a more stylish and modern look, as well as correcting some deficiencies.
● For some absurd reason, the bunny’s character was called “Tracy” and its feline version “Bunny”. The portraits have been exchanged to correct this.
● Added some cameos and Easter eggs.
● Fixed a mistake in Bunny/Tracy’s stage, which caused the banner animation in the background not to be displayed correctly.
● Added Readme file to the rar with special attacks list, and a way to play with the final boss using some hex, explained step by step (avaliable in english, spanish, and portuguese).

Street Fighter IV is a fighting game developed by Hummer Team, same people behind impressive bootleg games like Kart Fighter, Somari, or Aladdin 4, and published by Gouder Co. in 1993.
Aside from having Street Fighter in the title, it’s a practically original fighting game and should not be confused for the real game released by Capcom fifteen years later.
There are 6 different characters, 5 of which are playable. Each character has a recolor and in the single-player mode, these are essentially more difficult versions of the same character.
In 2005, an updated version of this game appeared on a 15-in-1 multicart, removing all references to Capcom game. At this point, the game is known as ‘The Legend’ or ‘Fighter Legend’.

And that's exactly what it is.... 😅 You can find it on many pirated cartridges along with other titles from Gouder Co. (which is one of the many names of the Hummer team). Still, of the half a hundred or so cheap fighting game clones on this system, the ones from these programmers are the most enjoyable.

This one has parallax scrolling and some animated backgrounds. Portraits are nice too.

I had this game, in my time nintendo consoles did not exist here in argentina, only a bootleg version called family game, I can clearly see the improvements , this send me back to the memory lane thank you for remind me better times when i was a kid and i only have free time to play video games, i hope someday they do the same for a game called master fighter 3 another really good bootleg fighting game, imagine it run like this one no slowdowns or overlapping sprites.

I just see diferent the character selection screen and the lifebars. The gameplay, sounds and bgm are still the same.

Also the improvements in the backgrounds that were considered necessary were made and some cameos and easter eggs were added. The thing is that this hack was a request from a Brazilian subscriber, who wanted the author of another hack (me) that improved Street Fighter III (another Chinese bootleg) to do the same with SFIV. The difference is that SFIII is incredibly good, while SFIV sucks.... 😅. That's why after improving portraits, life bars, etc. I didn't see the point in continuing: Even if I had polished the sprites, it would still be a very broken game in terms of gameplay.

I have the original(?) Cart for Famiclone...Is a 25 game in 1, many other titles are doubled, but this Is the only version!!!
Bought in 1993, the intro says Street Fighter IV!!!
Maybe was impossible have copyright problems, because are products oriented in places where there was no Copyright Laws!!!

As a curious fact, the latest version of this game removed any reference to the Capcom title, changing its name to Fighting Legend. That's what the author of the hack (me) wanted to reflect on the title screen. The problem is that 99% of people know it by the old title. That's why the hack is called Street Fighter IV: Enhanced Edition.
