I have about 10 sliding glass windows in my sunroom (1 fixed-1 sliding). Any tips on keeping the cold air out that seems to blow through the window tracks. Thanks

You mentioned a casement sliding window. I can't find that type of window. Could you please add a link?

At 2:35 you said "casement sliding window". I thought casement windows and sliding windows were different from each other. Is there a "casement sliding window"?

Would you choose a slider or single tilting hung to replace a slider?

Usually I would replace like for like, unless the customer prefers the look of a single hung window, but in a bedroom, egress issues my hinder the SH option.

Can you switch panel sides so it opens on the other side?

Yes, you can order the windows to open on either side, as well as both sides if you wanted.

I am sure that the homeowner was thrilled with the result of increased light in the room.

Yes! This house was a fun house to work on, and the customer was extremely happy with the facelift and the light increase!

Compared to a casement window, they don't seal quite as well and thus don't prevent intrusion of air and sound as well. Casement windows are very expensive, but seal the best of all windows. The only thing that beats a casement window for insulation (sound and air) is a fixed pane that can't be opened at all.
Compared to double hung windows, they can be harder to clean if on a higher floor . . . but on the first floor where you can easily clean from the outside, there's no disadvantage, really. Double hung also have the advantage of being able to open just the top OR just the bottom, whereas the opening of a sliding window is always the full height of the window. I don't think that matters to a lot of people, but something to consider. If you have small children, for example, you might want to open only the top of a window, so they can't reach the opening.
Between single hung and sliding, sliding is better in almost every way unless you simply prefer to look of a single hung. I honestly can't think of any advantages of a single hung except the look, if that's the look you prefer.
