I work as a waitress at an expensive restaurant. One day, while serving a couple, the man's credit card was declined and his fiancée dumped him, leaving him with the bill. I later found out that he was a businessman who lost everything and had to file for bankruptcy. I offered to pay his bill, and then gave him a ride because he wasn't able to afford a taxi. Little did I know that our encounter would change my life forever…

"...for true love, money doesn't matter, after all love is priceless." This was great writing. This was high drama and the plot became more and more complex. It is amazing who was plotting to make the millionaire a pauper. He chose well the second time around. I once again complement the sound editor. The choice of background music was superb and added so much to the mood of the story. I say kudos to all involved in producing this complex story with a simple true message about love. You don't just call the police when a customer can't pay for their food. The police won't do anything about it except enforce a trespass

You do if there's any suspicion that the subject entered the restaurant intending not to pay. In my state, so-called "dine-and-dash" offenses fall under the "defrauding an innkeeper" statute.
And, yes, the proprietor can issue the no-tresspass warning, which becomes enforceable if witnessed by an officer (the officer does not issue the warning.)
