As an FF4 fan, I'm sad they've regulated the Magus sisters to dungeon fodder, but I'm sure they've got their reasons. Also, SMN looks real fun to play now! I'm excited to give it an honest try this expansion.
I think those were meant to be the Lunar versions of the sisters as they appeared as such in the artwork for the Tower of Zot with the same sickly color scheme as the other Lunar primals, but perhaps they simply didn't have the models ready yet. I assume we'll probably fight the real deals further down the line when we presumably return to Thavnair after everything goes to heck.
I might end up wrong, but I'm confident they will be a full trial. The way they've been introduced, falls in line with the way they always introduce the leveling trial bosses. Ravana/Bismarck, Lakshmi/Susano, Titania/Innocence and now Magus Sisters/Anima were all formally announced during fanfests/expansion presentations. If they decided to break that trend now and just announce a dungeon boss encounter, then they sure had me fooled XD
Man they _really_ stepped up the boss fights. Those look amazing and I really cannot wait to get into it. Also I appreciate how Esti is getting clipped by all those AoEs. Really getting into his dragoon role there.

Having started FF14 this year (BEFORE the major influx from WoW. Not like it matters. lol) I have to say I super excited for Endwalker! FF4 has held a special place being my first FF game, and the fact we get the Magus Sisters now right out of the gate is GREAT... But that also means we can expect to see the Four Fiends! And Golbez! AND ZEROMUS! With this to wrap up the first main story arc... Just right!
Looks like the tower with the Magus is the first dungeon, and if I had to guess with the ending, the Trusts to chose in here are the twins, Estinien and Thancred.

Looks like she's just generic dungeon npc. She's not seen past the beginning and she's not on the party list. She's also standing with other npcs at the beginning who don't seem to be present anywhere else. But, who knows what we'll get.
ya know. just looking at this. they kinda missed an opportunity to give summoners an "astral" and "umbral" phase, where you summon the primals of astral elements after one trance, and the primals of umbral after. like idr which ones are what off the top of my head, but for example if bahamut gives you ifrit garuda and titan, let phoenix unlock shiva ramuh and leviathan. and then we could get an "egi glam" system to change them to their counterparts, you could glam levi into bismark, or even lets them "upgrade" your summons to the eden versions at a higher level for a stronger summon spell. level 100? your titan jumps down and does a donut in his car! and yeah your leviathan has 2 heads and your ramuh is a horse now.
I'm glad Alphinaud is also unnerved by the creepy bio-mechanical aesthetic the tower has going on. Makes me curious what kind of makeover Anima's gotten with it being strongly suggested it's responsible for them and possibly extensions of its body.
Yeah I fear they not gonna give us Shiva, Ramuh and Leviathan until 7.0. I’m guessing it might be a trait that changes the Phoenix gems to shiva, Levi and Ramuh gems. Sucks we gotta wait 2 years 😂 unless they surprise us and does something to allow us to change the gems to other primals but I highly doubt it.
@@jengogonar Yeah I would love to be able to summon the other elemental primals but let’s hope square has something up their sleeve to change the egi glamour system to where we can change the gems to other primals.
