- In the second episode of the Blue World Azores Family Diving Trip, we explore the Formigas Islets as well as the Dollabarat seamount nearby. These remote spots are more than six hours by boat from the island of Sao Miguel. We reached these places aboard the Water & Wind Liveaboard, which is one of the only liveaboard dive boats in the Azores! Thanks to Portugal Dive for arranging this amazing trip!

Yes for real😊😊
Same dude!
And mine ❤
My Favourite RUclips Channel.
Conditions looked amazing. Grouper and Devil Ray sightings speak for themselves.
Azores such a incredible place!
Every episode is a a spectacular show to behold. I love it Jonathan Bird!
Wow! That flyby at 10:39, blue water and light dancing... beautiful!
Lovely video Jonathan. Keep them coming!
Favorite RUclips channel right here
Majestic
Jonathan is sooo used to frog kicks now ! He even does it with his force fins! Awesome video
It's a problem. LOL!
I keep telling Bob, he has to make some frogforce® fins!
@@BlueWorldTV if they make force frog kick fin, it is an immediate purchase from me !
Beautiful. Thank you for taking us along on another family vacation. ❤
Awesome adventure!

Learning is cool

Jeez, I hope it didn't take too many searches to find us again!
Good job jhonathen😍
Beautiful!! I only recently discovered how magical it is under water after finding Dive Talk’s channel. All trained divers are very amazing people so thank y’all for showing the rest of us what we can only imagine!
Devil rays are shaped just like jet . Incredible beauty of underwater world !
Amazing
I love your content and this was no different! Simply wonderful
Thank you so much!
I HAVE missed you!!! Sorry about that. Well, at least I can catch up!!! OOFT those bitey fish!!! Not just a worry for you, but if they bite the wrong stuff... Love the ray footage!!!
At Orlando theme park SeaWorld, they have laser devil rays in the manta coral reef aquarium, and they got two great hammerhead sharks at the shark encounter aquarium
my favorite channel on youtube, always hiped to watch your new episode
Part three of this adventure on April 6th!
I am so jealous. This place looks absolutely gorgeous! I’ll have to put it on my bucket list of places to visit.
Groupers to me look so chill and silly!
Beautiful place … and as always spectacular cinematography!!
Going to have to put this spot on my bucket list now. Awesome!

I’m going to war against the triggerfish babyyyyy
Cant get enough of this
My family and I missed you in Edmonton over the weekend! We found out a day late that you would be at Telus world of science to premiere your new IMAX movie. Hope you had a good turn out, we can't wait to watch your new documentary!
Wow...such amazing dives! This has definitely been added to my bucket list!
Wow! The Azores have such beautiful marine life! Amazing video, as always 🤩
Awesome video again!!! What an awesome place. Have a bunch of friends on Cape Cod that are Azores Portuguese. They ended up in Provincetown. All fisherman !!
Massachusetts has a large Portuguese population, especially on the south shore. Which is AWESOME because there are flights direct to the Azores out of Boston and it's only about 4 hours. Who KNEW???
That was cool Jonathan! Can’t wait for more!
So ready to get back in the water. Good stuff as always.
Those rays were awesome
My kids just go nuts for your videos. Thank you!
Woo hoo!
:O oooooooohh cool
I just love your videos. They are so interesting and I love all of the beautiful fish and underwater Scenery. Thank you so much.
Glad you like them!
That was short! Hope to see more diving from this place.
The third installment will be longer and you will love it.
Another amazing day in the BLUE WORLD 🌎
I wanna go there now
I was waiting for you to get around to the Azores again! I wish I got the chance to dive more when I was stationed there.
Happy New Year! Also, a very illuminating performance!
A little bit longer shots & explanation of 'Black Corals' would have been better.
Anyway Thanks BlueWorld team for taking us back to Blue World.
I just love these videos.
Like that one time when I saw a massive eagle ray at Aramco’s reef off the coast of Al-Lith, Saudi Arabia. It was big!!
Btw how r u Jonathan, yeah it’s been a while since I watched a vid. Let’s just say University has caught up to me. Yeah I study at UO Eugene, Oregon.
Marin Bio major! It’s a blast, though sadly it’ll be for junior year at the OIMB, right now it’s just boring Core-ed classes.
Oh man, the weather must be a shock for you!! Welcome to college!
@@BlueWorldTV thanks Jonathan!!! Imagine if u stop by in Oregon for a dive, that’ll be cool
I think you got triggered by the trigger fish😂😂😂. Such awesome videos. I really enjoy them!
Thanks for watching!
Interesting to see its not just the gulf of Thailand that has maniac trigger fish. Ironically the giant ones on the Andaman Sea are placid.
War with the triggerfish!!!!
They won!!
@@BlueWorldTV A well fought battle from the triggerfish🫡
I agree.
Such beautiful and purell leveled blueness and water refinery.
Perfect examples of oceanic blue celestial sea allurals.
Another Great family diving example!💌
I sense the deep peacefulness such areas has achieved domain specialty and crystal clear ambiance celebration natures.
Thank you❤
Just wondering if you can do any rock sound searching underwater?
I know the blue world is about creatures and environment.
I found a secret window of consent💙
I am thinking of a musical instrument made,
... for a underwater ambience credit.
To be continued.....stay tuned🐡
YOOO
its been a while since i watched him, still as i remember
Still super fun??
Páratlan élményekben va RÉSZÜK A MÉS EZT MI IS LÁTHATJUK KÖSZÖNJÜK SZÉPEN! 😊❤️ÉLYTENGERI BÚVÁROKNAK
9:06 Stingray becomes invisible 🤣
It just went of the camera
It's a war with the tiger fish.🫠🫠🫠
The cave diving videos are really cool, but I'd much rather see videos where you show off exotic marine life from around the world. Now that you have rebreathers, I'd like to see marine life in deeper depths.
That's coming!!!
Just curious what the water temp is in the Acores and what wetsuit thickness you were using?
During the summer can go between 21ºc - 24ºc, but still I always used 7mm semi dry, especially doing 2 dives per day.
Triggerfishes attack when protecting their offspring. At least here on the Red Sea. One triggerfish hit me with its teeth. He accelerated from 3 - 4 meters. Feels as if someone has hit you with a fist. It was near his nest inside a coral reef. Once a triggerfish bit my partner on the arm, on the palm. There are teeth marks on the hand. We have rumors that triggerfish can break the mask.
Titan triggers in particular are big and aggressive!
10:46 this one is brown compared to the black and White Manta Ray
Highly recommend Lot region in France for cave diving! Would make a great episode!
Plus....French wine!
What lights are you using Jonathan?
Bigblue

I agree the Azores is an amazing place at first I thought they were manta rays but it's a totally different species am I correct Jonathan?
I know you didn’t ask me but yes you’re correct
Mobulas look a lot like mantas, but they are in their own genus containing 11 currently recognized species around the world.
@@BlueWorldTV can I get credit for being a smart boy mr. bird?
What age do to have to be to dive with a tank?
You can get your junior open water certification at age 10.
@@BlueWorldTVThx
I found out that your stargate cave dive is no longer on RUclips and is considered “private” on your website. Mind if i ask how this happened?
Big fan!
We got too much criticism for it.
@@BlueWorldTV criticism? I wonder why.
I feel like your son is very spoiled. (Not trying to be mean, but he gets to dive all the time.)
You're right he is!! I explain to him all the time how lucky he is. LOL
