We had an old cheap little fence around our backyard that was already there for when my husband's grandmother lived in the house, her little dogs could go out back and be fine. Well we got a big dog, and then another big dog 😂 that little fence wasn't cutting it, and our neighbors dog would run over and all the dogs would bark and run back and forth.. well the second big dog we got was actually my childhood dog, he was old and would limp after every ordeal. Well we put up a 6ft tall privacy fence. The dogs would still bark and run so I ended up yelling at my neighbor to put her dog on a leash 🫣 she has been ever since 😅 ... Since then though, my senior childhood dog has passed away and we have gotten another big dog and two little dogs. The three new dogs are afraid of the neighbors dog 😂 he got away from her not too long ago

It’s amazing how many people have trouble with neighbors- new or established. We had a problem with our neighbor when we purchased the property between us. As we started to clear the 20 year overgrown brush and trim the trees that had never been trimmed he became irate and accused us of ruining the beauty of the land. He started trying to sabotage our efforts which ultimately landed him in county jail. His antics have since stopped but it’s sad we had to go through all of that to get him to stop. We tried discussing with him directly as adults, we even got the local constable to speak with him but it wasn’t until the sheriff knocked on his door that he realized we won’t play his games! So sad!

One of the best things we did at my old home was put in a gate between ours and the neighbor's back yards. The adults used it more than the children did, and it was like saying, "you're part of our tribe." It especially came in handy the night their compost bin caught on fire, and we were able to start putting it out before it caught the trees, all the while banging on their back door and bedroom windows. Good times.

I like the neighbor's fence. I bought country property during the pandemic.
When I finally got up my land, the barb wire fence was down and the neighbors let their animals graze on my property.
I was mad because I was hopeful to rent out my pasture for the summer for some extra money.
The county said it was a civil matter.
So I'll have to go to court.
My neighbors broke my fence and changed the property line as they encroached on my land.

    Hello there,
To say that MOST people would be CONCERNED with a Neighbor doing Questionable things dates back to even before the ( Hatfield's and Mc Coy's ) Now with that being said.
I also need YOU to UNDERSTAND what PROPERTY Ownership means for EVERY Person on the planet. FAIR, REASONABLE, Able to Do as things would seem ( ALLOWABLE ) based on any one particular vice of recreation and such ( YES - NO - MAYBE ) ???
HOPEFUL - Still. The Truth is there are a Few basic ( RULES and Regulations ) that Dictate ( F R E E D O M ) What YOU LIKE to See ? What others then also want there VISON to Be ? Take the BORDER wall at Texas and Mexico. As an EXTREME Example. There were many different VERSION presented as to cost, Look, Total Form and Function and also ( What it was Intended ) To HELP instead of HURT ( GOT IT ) ???
YOUR VIEW is NO Concern of the owners on the other side of the fence. IF they built with the proper paperwork being filed and got the go ahead to Take care of there end.
THAT IS WHERE the Two sides can differ ( UNTIL ) the end of time or worse.
You cant Pick YOUR NEIGHBORS. As good as the PREVIOUS ones were. Consider what they too thought when YOU showed up to take away from the paradise they were seeing too? Not in a Bad way. BUTT REMEMBER this as in the lessons that come back to HAUNT us ( DECADES ) Later still.
Without having a Crystal ball. I WOULD VENTURE to Say ( THIS WALL ) is going to OUTLAST ( YOU ALL ) Either accept it or get u and out of there in the HOPES it does not happen at the next place. LAND Use and Development is a CRUEL Game of taking one thing and turning it into something else. Gas stations. Shopping centers Manufacturing or Agricultural use , etc.
TODAY ( YOU ) Shared YOUR side of the story.
I would be wiling to bet the other Land Owners WERE NOT PLEASED they had to put up said EYE sore fence to keep YOU on YOUR side at a Great expense so they could do what the property was intended to be used for too.
