Surface pro is a workhorse. iPad Pro is a playhorse. I’m an apple fan and have a sizeable eco system (iPhone 13 pro, iPad 10.5 pro, MI Mac mini, M1 MBP 13, MBP 16 i9 and a nano studio display). However, my workplace, a University, is wedded to all the MS system, which is very powerful as a full suite of software. Hence a Surface is far easier to use with that eco system. I have a Surface 6, keyboard and pen. The latter (round) pen is light, comfortable and better to use than my gen 1 Apple Pencil. My son has a full on IPad Pro 12.9 (2TB + cellular), Magic Keyboard and Pencil. It’s very heavy and incredibly expensive. For the same money he could have got an MBP16 M1 chip. Far better for professional applications. So I’m still a fan of the Apple ecosystem but can see the case for the Surface Pro at my workplace too. It’s small, light, easy to use and is great for office work. One area that Apple wins, hands down, is filming AV and audio. An IPhone 13 Pro with an additional pro mic and rig is brilliant. Hence my Uni bought me the MBP13 M1 16/512 for editing and publishing. iMovies is great for that and it’s free…….
Surface Pro 9 with the Intel 12th generation "U" CPU. With the new CPU, that battery life is a lot better than its previous version and provides good performance for data analysts and excel gurus. Also, enjoyable to watch RUclips videos.
Surface pro 9 i5 and i7 can play genshin and civ 6 just fine.. this reviewer just hasnt done the research and set it up correctly.. there's also egpu capability.. if anyone wants to know how the surface pro games just let me know Ive probably tested it
Hi it’s a challenge to 1 million, build a laptop computer with an ipad pro or galaxy tab ultra screen, the battery of an ipad pro and the motherboard of the surface pro 9. we are tired of making concessions because of builders.#ipadpro #galaxytab #surfacepro9
Surface better -does More, while the iPad claims to be a pro it’s def not a pro and we know why.. for more business type of real office productivity go with surface, gaming and editing go with iPad Pro
The way I look at it is that I want a laptop with a dGPU, so these two would be my choices for a tablet-specific workflow to complement my main laptop. In that case, the iPad is a far better tablet, so it would easily be my choice. If I only had that $1300 budget, then I would buy an MB Air M1 (discounted) and, with the change, buy an iPad 10. I do not think I would buy either of these as an all-in-one; both have too many compromises.
Windows isn't for the tablet experience. Not quite sure why they make these really. There are many reasons to like windows on laptops and p.C.'s. it's definitely the bottom of the barrel for phone and tablets.
Terrible review this reviewer is way to bias to the apple ipad. If you want to be able to do everything and not be locked down the surface pro 9 is better.
You don’t know what you are talking about. They are needed on a tablet to hold it without accidental touches. They are a heck of a lot slimmer than what they used to be a few years ago.

Agree. Too much bias he even said that the surface pro 9 looks boring. Tbh, both looks boring
So random but I saw your channel before I saw this post! Maybe the algorithm working. Good work and know you mean exactly what you say!
LOL eGPU really that’s way outside the scope of a “portable tablet”
@@doomtomb3 I've tested a few games with my Razer core x and GTX 1080 works great actually

Such an aggressive sounding review 😅

Give me the Samsung Tab S8 plus or ultra for hundreds dollars less...or the Surface Pro on sale
