Freeze Dried Caramel M&M's are one of my favorite freeze dried candies! They keep the hard candy shell, and chocolate while the caramel becomes light and fluffy and melts in your mouth!

I use 1 gram which are good for up to a volume of 120 cubic inch container.

24 hours???? Aren’t these done in 4 hrs??

I always set extra dry time to 24… if you wind up with a kid in the emergency room it’s nice to not be worried about your food in the freeze dryer. I have found in my machine that I run Caramel M&M’s for 6 hours for the best results.
