@@developingdaddy because there dumbed down by using the easy button. Having a equalizer is a excellent way of fine tuning your sound system for optimal sound. Maybe you should ask a old school audiophile to show you the difference in sound quality and how to curve the dials for the best sound a system can produce.

@@sullie35 your right preset EQ sux , nothing sounds like a good System with a 5 or 7 band Eq.
You get what you pay for...you want total control...go to dsp...plan on shelling out thousands.
