Southern districts have always been very good at soccer, it is a very multicultural area with majority coming from places with big soccer backgrounds, This is where Mark Viduka and Harry Kewell grew up in the 80's and many more have come from here. I was playing division 1 champions of champions back in the day I can say that Ku-ring-gai has some really strong teams too.
