The DOJ should be all over this company. They know who is responsible for this young man’s death. There has to be video evidence of the man chasing him. The police department also needs to be investigated.

Wake up my people. How long and how many sons and daughters must pass before you realize that looking towards a nation that will not save us will not work. God didn’t raise docile disciples.

This story is stranger than fiction. Too many questions, why would you go 22 miles without knowing how to get back? Why would you not have a solid backup plan and risk being stuck in an unfamiliar town? No family or friends to call for help? They don't have Uber? even a taxi? I just don't know anyone who would go somewhere 22 miles from their home and not have a plan to get back. He had a ATM card? Hard to understand this case. Even if I barely knew this young man I would have given him a ride but seriously schooled him with his judgement.

You clearly know little to nothing about Mississippi. Lots of people travel from small towns to other towns for temp jobs in Mississippi because Mississippi is rural. Fayette (his home city) only has 1 grocery store & a bunch of gas stations. So it makes sense why he would leave that area for a better paying job miles away. He went to Taylorsville (the town where he went missing) with a friend for the job & from what I researched, he & the friend got into it. His mom was traveling out of state working (again, for more money) & he was trying to get a ride back home since he was walking miles to work in a predominantly white town. There are no taxis or Ubers in Taylorsville. If you drive through that city & blink you will be out of it. He went to the police station asking for a ride to the next town. They said no. He eventually found a ride but the police told him he couldn’t stay at the police station. So he left walking & his body was found on the property of one of the (white) police officer’s deer camp. I’m not sure what part you couldn’t understand with a simple Google or RUclips search. Everything I typed was from RUclips & Google.

I'm so tired of this injustice that continues. I am tired of other races receiving reparations even if they weren't even in this country . When will we overcome.

His family need to be talking to Smith County Sheriff's Office, not Taylorsville P.D. because his body was found in the county not in town.
