1949 - Ice Boat - Pontiac, Michigan - Kodachrome 8mm Home Movie

This 3 minute film was found on a recent roadtrip to Detroit, Michigan. The name and address on the yellow Kodachrome box points to an individual in Pontiac, Michigan. I left an image of the box at the end of this film. I checked the address in Google street view but the house has been demolished. The films development date was 1949. The only other writings on the box was the words "Ice Boat. Good"

Wow what a cool little craft! The guy must have been an aircraft mechanic or engineer. It would be cool to find his descendants...

@@ChrisSmartFilms I just looked up Ronal, he passed at age 85 in 1999. The only other Leibler is David, who lives in Flint. I just left him a VM. Hopefully he'll call back. I'm going to show this to a friend of mine, he's 103, was a pilot in WW2, he'll get a kick out of it. Note: His name was Ronal ---not Roval.
