    one thing is very important that you have not in your soldering station, it is a smoking fan. an good electrician is never tidy

    • @azyfloof
      @azyfloof  7 лет назад +1

      Indeed :) I've since bought a USB fan that I use with a power bank, and that works really well :D
      I might try and find a way to incorporate it into this build :P

    Missing the helping hands and diopter. Very nice work. I've been meaning to do something similar. Not a fan of having everything scattered about. I spent 10 minutes looking for the soldering iron holder that fell out and got lost under my car. I was sure it was in my garage somewhere I just couldn't find the thing! That was the last straw before I went looking for a way to combine all of it. All in one stations online are ridiculously expensive. What you've done here is brilliant. Love the custom holder for the tip tinner too. Great station!

    That's a really great idea to get your most used components altogether like that. Now I'm going to have to make me something similar with maybe a fan added on it & a LED light of some sorts. Thanks, Tom.

    That was a great video. You showed the hole developmental process that could be applied to any project. I build full size race cars that race on dirt. I use the same process when i am building a new revision on my chassis. Great Job!

    additional features that you might consider: 1. Lamp 2. Wire Holder/Clamp 3. Exhaust fan (smoke from soldering lead is not good for you health :) 4. Magnet (to secure your tiny screws) and 5. Multi tester on board. :)

    • @AThreeDogNight
      @AThreeDogNight 6 лет назад

    Nice job mate ; ) ................. Good video and very helpful thank you. I can't believe that almost 300 peeps gave you a thumbs down ! There will always be 'haters' ! or maybe they're just jealous of other peoples ingenuity !
    Personally, I like it. I guess those 'haters' have missed the point .............. safety first, and all your soldering equipment and tools in the same place.

    nice video. I have been wanting to do this for a long time but keep forgetting. How about adding a maginify glass, supporting hands and a place to fit your multimeter as well. I know it would become bulkier but i think it would be a total kill, what do you say?

  • @j.r.0420

    Pretty cool, where do you find the threaded inserts used to fasten things to the board? Now all it needs is a silicone mat and it's burn proof.
