So I hear you asking...why are you programming Christmas lights shows so early?
Well to that I’d say....nothing! 😂😂
I would just look at you, and you would know that I’m done with summer.
So maybe that was an exaggeration, I’d probably say I’m so ready for Christmas and I’m sick of summer. Yeah that’s more like it. 😂
I actually built these shows for an ADJ Contest that was happening and I liked the shows so much I decided to post them here as well.
Let me know what you think, and perhaps what you’d love to see programmed or maybe your favorite song!
I do get a small commission off the links at no extra cost to you. Just helps out a little with more videos like this. - Наука
The production quality of the video is indescribably underrated
Thank man! Really appreciate that!
Awesome! As someone who's new to djing and lightshows, seeing home setups like this is very inspiring!
i agree!
I've seen a lot of light shows on youtube but I must say yours is very special. You took ordinary dj lights and made a top notch lightshow to a music track. I mean I'm familiar with all of those fixtures and you did an excellent design with simplicity at it's core. I'm glad you said you used Vixen and not the Airstream app because I was really trying to figure out how you'd pull that off.
Vixen makes more sense. I absolutely loved it. Feel free to post more : )
Thanks so much man! Really appreciate the complaints. Haha yeah I figured out a trick to use the Bridge as a controller with other software. And it worked pretty well. Uhh couldn’t imagine trying to do that in Airstream. 🤦🏻♂️😂 Thanks so much. Hope you enjoy my next light show.
Nice work! No light stands or rigging, either... Appreciate the guided tour; it's helpful!
The lights were great, but the videography was even greater!! Wow nice lights and camerawork!
Seriously appreciate it!!
Great job on the light show and on your video. Love the creativity. Oh, and I also checked out the 3 in 1 bar lights video you did. Looks like a really cool affordable fixture. Again, your video presentation skills are amazing.
Dude thanks so much really appreciate it! Hey that’s awesome! It’s definitely a different light that has some cool features. Really appreciate the compliment means more than you think. 👌🏻Hope you have an amazing New Year.
These r awesome!! How did you create those? What tool did u use? Could u pls do smth like a tutorial on how to make some like these?
Very good effect
Very nice...love it!
Thank so much man!
What do you use to program this?
Dude awesome
Thanks man! Really appreciate it.
Nice! 🙂
A friend of mine let me borrow some of his lights for a party and I'm just looking for some help on making them sync in with the music. Now this video is badass! Good work bro i really enjoyed that👍🏼
But main question, is there something else to get similar results without a laptop or that dmx box where i would have to program the effects in? I just want to play music through my speakers with my phone but would love it if the lights would sync in more
I thought I responded to your comment. I guess I didn’t. My bad. So what you’re looking for is a setting on most light called sound react. Most lights I’ve seen have it in one form or another. Looks though the manual or just scroll through the menu. That’s the best way to have the lights doing something without programming anything.
great vids mate! how did you program the stinger 2 👍
Thanks so much man! It’s programmed with Vixen 3 and controlled over DMX.
Amazing job! Did you have to use the Airstream along Apple devices or could you make that work on android devices?
Great question. So I’ve only used the App on Apple and I don’t own an android. But I haven’t used the app in ages. Found a way to connect to the IP Address of the Bridge and run the system through other software.
Your light show is really impressive, and I think your setting is perfect for home show. I hope you will going to start tutorial videos for us, is there any lessons to learn the lighting skill?
Thanks so much. I mean it’s years of leaning little tricks and just making ideas come to life.
Wonderful. Which dmx program you have used?
It’s a lighting software called Vixen. It’s made for Christmas light shows.
This is awesome!! Nicely programmed lights and those video editing skills!
How are those 3 in 1 bars named and which brand are they? Look like a really cool effect.
Just looked at your other videos forget the question...
Well thanks so much I really appreciate it. I’m glad you enjoyed it. 👌🏻 Yes they’re really neat lights to use. It’s surprising how bright they are. 😂 thanks so much for looking through my other videos. That’s the first time someone actually found it themselves. 😄👌🏻 I really hope you enjoy them if you get some. 👏🏻 thanks so much for commenting and your kindness.
They look really nice and it seems like you have lots of different looks with just one bar. But sadly they aren't available in Germany.
It would be cool if you would make more videos like this one. I think thats the one I enjoyed most while watching.
Well that’s sad. It must be too hard to ship through the borders right now.
Thanks so much! I really appreciate the encouragement! I’ll definitely try to make more videos like that. Really means a lot for your support. 👌🏻
Planning on having a party sometime next year and really want to get into some gear that'll make people remember it, can't spend a load of money tho
Really depends on what you know, what you have, what kinda show, how long, indoor/outdoor, programmed on the fly or pre made. Lots of little details. Have you made any kind of light show before?
@@DJKoren Nope, and don't own anything light show related
Well I wouldn’t try to make a huge show all at once. Play around test things and learn what you like. It’s definitely something you’ll be doing for the rest of your life. It’s not bad, it’s an awesome adventure. 🤙🏻 I don’t know really how to get you started. Mainly need to know are you doing a DJ style show, Christmas outdoor show, theater style show, stand alone show, a show synced to music. 😂 not trying to scare you off. Just lots you can do.
@@DJKoren Yeah i get that haha, have always wanted to get into djing but never had the chance but I would probably be aiming for a show like yours
What are the licht that or on the richt en left of your set in the 2e one
I think you’re talking about the 3 in one bar lights I had mounted on the sides of the set correct? This is what I used for those.

Also have a very of just them.

How did you get your lights to work in Vixen?
Have you used Vixen? It’s like patching any light or element as an output.
What camera are you using? Thanks
I believe for that video I used a Canon XA30. Nothing huge on specs but it worked very well.
How much could the full ligthing set cost? Which SW do you use for session design!?
Really depends on what you need or want to use. If you want moving heads, that can get pretty pricey, if ya want a lot of bars and par, or even pixels that’s a tad more affordable, but not by much. I’d at least just start investing in some affordable pars and maybe some small effects lights, and just start building up your gear closet. If you’re looking for a number, I’d say start out with around $3,000 should be able to get you a cool set up. The software I use is called Vixen 3. It’s not made for moving heads so I have to make a little work around with using each channel separately. But getting controllers can be affordable or expensive depending on how much you want to control. You can also look into using Hog4, ADJ’s MyDMX3.0, or ChamSys. All three of those options can get pricey as well, depending on how much you want to control. But it’s an incredible art and so worth getting into in my opinion, so I’d just start out slow and getting gear here and there. Hope that helps.
What software are you using ?
It’s called Vixen.
This is awesome. Are you planning to do a tutorial for this? You would get so many followers if you do !
Thanks so much dude! Really appreciate it! I’m actually working on building a course that teaches and shows you everything you need to know to make light shows.
@@DJKoren THIS IS AMAZING
@@DJKoren how goes the course? It’s been three months and I’m trying to learn how to take house parties to the next level!
Hey man! Thanks for the reply. It’s definitely slow like anything worth putting effort into. But I definitely haven’t forgotten about it. I’ve had some much on my plate recently and I’m trying to get everything done with my approve of quality so it’s a lot. 😄 it’s definitely nice to see that someone is really interested in it. I’ll probably post when I have news. 👌🏻
@@DJKoren yeah man, I’m emotionally invested into this so I’ll be paying attention and waiting anxiously lol Hope everything smooths over well for you homie
Hi, What 3 in 1 effect lights are the two verticals with built in strobe / LED's?
Do you have a model / make? Would love these for my front room.
This is where I got them.
a.co/d/fmYNbgt
Thanks for the prompt reply… Just my luck, no longer available and I’m in the UK.
Great light show and setup, but it’s not all about the equipment, but your great talent. I love it!
Thanks so much dude! Here’s one more place that you could try. I can’t vouch for their quality but it’s probably the same thing.
a.aliexpress.com/_mtxMEtS
it is the LED STP-14 from eurolite
This is dope!! Subscribed! Is this difficult to learn?
Thanks dude!! Depends on exactly what you want to learn, and what you know already. 😄👌🏻 I’d say the biggest thing is actually sticking to it and taking the time to achieve results.
@@DJKoren thanks for responding! I want to learn how to program lights synced to a song. What program do you use to do that? I'm starting from literally nothing 😄. I think I'll start with 2 of those 3 in 1s as a start. 👍
You’re very welcome! Very cool! Oh yeah definitely those lights are incredible! Ok here’s my instagram. Shoot me a DM. 👌🏻

Dude what are the lights on the floor called?
If you mean the vertical ones you can find them here, www.amazon.com/dp/B083TT7FY5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_2TEB1DRT2XHW0NVZVBHQ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I also made a separate video with just those lights. ruclips.net/video/uXABQYvRxXA/видео.html
sick
Wow plz make more
Thanks man! Working on new stuff as I type.
Dude wtf, this is sick. How much does the whole setup cost?
Well thanks! That’s a great question....I’ve slowly accumulated fixtures over the years, but it’s probably in the ball park of 2-3k. I don’t know all the numbers off the top of my head so that’s a rough estimate.
How do you program
Lots of time. Sitting, and thinking a lot, clicking a bunch, restarting the computer, figure out why LEDs aren’t working, think everything looks stupid, then an hour later absolutely loving it.
Wich stringer did you use?
Stinger 2.
@@DJKoren from which brand?
Oh 😂 ADJ (American DJ)
@@DJKoren Thank you
How mucvh did these Cost all toghther
If I was charging for programming time, probably $6,000.
Waiting for the tutorial drop and course 😢
🤩👏👏👌🤙
🔅🔆🔦💡🤙🏻
One of the best timed (and creative) lighting shows ever! Would you be interested in doing some programming for me?
Really appreciate it! I’m always up for a challenge. It wouldn’t be something I could do right away though, as I have a couple other projects I’m programming as well. Would love to see the specs of your project and what you’re running though.
I saw your comment before it disappeared, where you actually interested in a call?
If you need any help or advise send me a dm on Instagram. As I didn’t see your message with the email before it was removed.
Those 3n1 are those the laluznatz things
Yes. They’re pretty sweet and have some cool effects. All they need now is some lasers. 😄
@@DJKoren Super glad i saw these things, im about to get 4 haha - laser wise note: do NOT cheap out on lasers. Cheap lasers suck ass - go for X-laser
Oh I’m so glad. You’ll definitely be happy with them. 👌🏻👏🏻 Yes that’s true. Oh very cool! That’s definitely awesome to know! Thanks so much. 😎
What’s the center piece?
I’m guessing you’re talking about what the movers are sitting on? It’s two sets of shelves that are made for some cloth drawers. With the drawers removed thought it was a nice look. If that’s not what you were talking about, then imma need some more specifics. 😃👌🏻
@@DJKoren the one at 0:16 that shines blue with multiple circles in the middle it looks like. Would love a piece like this for my room.
Ah! Now I get what’s your referring to. That’s called the ADJ Stinger 2. It’s a 3 in one unit with UV, Lasers, and a moon flower effect. All control labels with dmx, airstream app, or just random patterns. It’s pretty easy to find on Amazon, B&H, or Sweetwater. By just searching “ADJ Stinger 2”. Hope this helps. 👌🏻
@@DJKoren ok thank you so much that thing is so cool!
Like !!!
Thanks dude!!
