I've finally added the Android remote control app to the Blaize 3 repository! Check out the follow-up video (and its description) for details. ruclips.net/video/TjnYWlusAS8/видео.html
@outofblue Hi and thanks for your interest! The animations are physically constrained to the display space of the projector, so I programmed most of the visuals to stay inside that space. Some of them look cool even though they exit the screen, for example the 'endless large plane slider' animation. Cheers, Oliver
Hey everyone, I've found the time to bundle up the software and provide a free download - check out my new video for details :) ruclips.net/video/TjnYWlusAS8/видео.html
More modern projectors usually have a wider field of view and are brighter, but I'm actually impressed by how nice even my ~18 year old projector looks with some fog and Blaize. Ergo: I'd recommend using whatever you have available. Tip: Cranking up contrast + saturation in the projector's settings enhances the effects even further.
Hey, wirklich sehr cooles Video!
I use that kind of software also, I only need the code to let this software work. Must I geven money for the code? Tomorrow I have a party I like to use this.
Yes, on the second lower page. Click on the "BPM" button to toggle the auto mode. You can additionally set the speed of your song and hit "Nudge +/-" to get your lightshow in sync with the current song. Have fun!
Are you holding the CTRL key while using the arrow keys? Did you set your secondary display (projector) as a separate screen to the left of your PC/laptop screen?
Hi, here's the link to a follow-up video with the download link and a usage Tutorial for Blaize 3: ruclips.net/video/TjnYWlusAS8/видео.html I assume you mean the track starting at 04:17? That's a song I made called Airwalk, send me your email address and I can drop you a download link ;)
You only have to install something (Processing) if you want to build Blaize from source code. Otherwise, you should be able to download and run the .exe directly.
The effects will probably look a bit sharper with 1080p, but a lower resolution projector should still produce awesome results. Output angle and contrast are more important than resolution for Blaize. Have fun!
Hi, I assume you mean on the projector. It's fairly old and has a surprisingly low resolution, probably below 1280x720, but a good contrast ratio, ergo the light beams are still nice and crisp. It helps to set the contrast/color/saturation settings on the projector to max and (if necessary) lower the brightness so that the dark parts are...darker.

@@BodgedButWorksHi, is the software useable still ? It seems a little complex with all the downloads, Im using MAC, any advice or pointers would be appreciated , Love your work , cheers.

My understanding is that there two different component in this: Fog generate the pattern inside the light but the changing animation is via the computer software so we can have those animation without a fog correct? But does this software read and connect to any projector?
I don't think it will, as long as you use the correct fog fluid for your machine and don't generate waaay too much fog. I haven't noticed any fluid residue on any projectors I've used, or a film on the lens.

theres already a bunch of light effect videos right here on youtube, just run them to your projector and your golden

Very very nice!!
I was wondering if insn't interesting tô have the pattern videos directly on RUclips!
Interesting idea!
Although they would have to be synchronized to a certain BPM 🤔
I'll give it some thought 😉

man kann die BPM nur manuell setzen. Eine automatische Erkennung ist nicht so einfach und daher nicht implementiert.

Is it possible to use artnet or sacn to control the software? Or any other way to controll it from a lighting console like magicq or ma?
