I've always driven by this place and it seems that this wasn't offered until just recently...and yes, Shakey's is just down the street, which is pretty darn good for lunch as well. Will likely give it a try soon!
I live right next to this place. My mom said the food was just okay (she grew up in East LA), so maybe give a try if ur nearbye but I definitely wouldn’t go out of ur way to specifically drive here. My parents also ate here for the regular non-buffet menu and were kinda disgusted by the quality of the beef in their dishes. I’m surprised how busy they seem to be though 🤷🏻♂️
The price is good. The selections seem fine, but nothing special. I'm surprised there aren't any egg dishes especially since they offer chilaquiles since they are usually served with fried eggs. Also, disappointing they don't have beef birria. Will try it out at least once. Thanks
