- Surp Giragos Armenian Church in southeastern Türkiye has reopened after a seven-year hiatus. Worshippers attended its first Sunday service since 2015, when it was heavily damaged by attacks from the PKK terrorist organisation.

One church restored. That leaves 1,999 more to rebuild and restore to Armenians after the destruction of 1915/1923.

I must've missed part on the PKK reasoning for attacking an Armenian church. With the large diaspora, I presume many people know about the struggles of both the Armenians as well as the Kurds. Why go after a church, what am I missing?
I think usa really paid the top money to make the notion of pkk equals kurds. Even though it's literally an internationally recognized trrrst organization and such a notion was never 'a thing' before usa invaded syria to 'liberate' ppl. Ofc its clear as day that they just wanted the resources all for themsleves. Even though there were countless other moves that could prevent humanity crisis and refugee crisis in syria while profiting usa and eu, just maybe not as much as monopolizing resources through a puppet for usa.
