I want to take an "in depth" class for Silhouette Studio. Although I love these videos (thank you!!), I wanted to know if there is a DVD that goes into great detail? I can draw, but I need to know more of the concept in order to create like I want to. Also, do you (OR ANYONE) know where I can buy svg files that are similar to the Spellbinders shapeabilities edges and borders? I see a lot of svg files that are borders and/or edges, but most are straight across or a corner. I want to be able to incorporate them to make album pockets, etc. Thanks again!!!
Hello! Please HELP! I'm trying to print and cut Honey Labels that I designed in Inkscape and am currently exporting as PNG into Silhouette Studio Basic. What gets me is that it looks horrible in Silhouette Studio and when I try to print from Silhouette Studio (to have the registration marks), it looks very bad and pixelated. What has me a little worried about just buying the Designer version is that if I design a fake label in Silhouette Studio and put some fairly small text (Because the label will have small text), it also looks horrible if I print it from Silhouette Studio. So I'm not so sure even upgrading the software will work for me. I have contacted Silhouette, but they haven't replied to me and it's been a week now. Do you know how I can get good prints with the registration marks? Thank you so much for any help you can provide.
Let's brainstorm :-) Pixilation may very well be the label itself responding to ink. Are you certain that you have inkjet labels vs laserjet labels? If it's the wrong materials for the job the ink will just sit on top in teeny puddles looking like pixilation. It can only print what it sees, if you zoom in very close on screen does the image itself look blurry? -TRW Crystal

Why is the silhouette colour mode only RGB instead of having a choice of RGB & CMYK especially when it’s a print & cut software? Is that standard across all silhouette editions or can you get a choice of colour mode with an upgrade?
Hi, I have purchased a Graphtec CE lite 50 and the Silhouette Business , previously I have used a Brother Scan and Cut. My problem with the CE lite 50 how to cut on is as I get an off scale . Now I have readjusted the size of my SVG for cutting, changed the mat size even though I am cutting off a vinyl roll, changed the orientation of the mat.......Tried allsorts to resolve the problem. Do you have a video link that explains where i am going wrong......thanks Anj

I got very excited when I read the Multicutter support BUT its only Multiple silhouette cutter use is it not?? I foolishly thought it meant I could use my other cutters using silhouette studio business edition but sadly not. :( SO I have just wasted 70 quid. :(
Silhouette Studio Nesting means to take images and sort them into place to minimize the amount of space used to cut. This is a great feature if you are using very expensive or hard to find vinyl and you don’t want to waste it with wasted space when cutting. Hope this helps. -TRW Tanyu

Which, the CorelDraw and Wizard? Those are software that we use to design our stone templates with. We sell them on site and they need each other to design with. You can still make the Business Edition on Sil work but it's just more tedious. :-) -TRW Crystal
Silhouette Studio is a designing software that comes with the Cameo. Which you could certainly create something in to be cut on your Graphtec, but you would then need to install Cutmaster which is Graphtecs own cutting software which allows you to send the cut through. Hope this helps. - TRW Bobbi

Have you download the basic edition first? After you have the basic edition you can then go to "Help" in SIlhouette Studio and click upgrade software. Let us know if you have any trouble with this. -TRW Mireya
I have watched video after video on placing text to a curve, and it is not working for me. I have upgraded from basic edition to business edition, and double clicking on any text is not giving me a green box around my text, or the circle with crosshairs/arrows to snap to a curve. Can you give my EVERY last STEP-BY STEP instruction as to how to make this work. Please be explicit, and DO NOT leave out any steps... PLEASE! Be sure to mention how to get to the text edit mode, convert to path, etc., and which object (text or curved lime or shape) do I do what to, and in proper steps. Thanks. This has wasted a ton of my time trying to get this figured out, and I do NOT like to waste so much time on something that APPEARS to be rather simple on all the videos I have watched. Again, I say thanks for your help.

If my computer crashes, do I need to repurchase the business edition?
You shouldn't need to. If you get a new computer, you should be able to contact Silhouette and they can switch it for you.
