Thanks Denise - you might be waiting a while to see it finished. I will probably use this quilt as a personal round robin, adding more borders with different techniques until it's a queen size - keep watching, you will see it grow :)
On this wonky rail fence, why did you not start in the middle? Episode 403 Thank you. I haven't made a quilt yet, I keep watching all kinds of you tube videos. Thank you so much I am waiting for your book to come. What size did they wind up being for each square?
OnPoint-TV Nancy, I just purchased the rail fence pattern but when I downloaded it and saved it to my iPad Notes app, the pattern didn't appear, but rather the message Word Press Error. I downloaded it the second time and the same thing happened so I haven't been able to save the PDF file. Could you please advise. Many thanks.
Hi Donna, yes you can. the advantage to using the fabric or a washable stabilizer is that you leave it in and if you seems are not always a nice 1/4" that can create stability. If i would using phone book paper i might be a little worried about the ink bleeding through - just sayin' :)
Great for when you just want to do some "mindless" sewing!
Love the African fabrics! Can’t wait to see the finished quilt and how you quilted it.

I could have started in the middle of a block like this one, just didn't this time :)

Can you just use paper instead of material? I have seen others using an old phone book.

no rules? You probably still want at least a 1/4 inch seam allowance...
AvivaHadas it wouldn’t hurt 🤓
