When I first heard of this feature I was very skeptical and sort of wished that they wouldn't waste time developing it. Then I saw a RUclips video saying it had been released. I went over to the website and I quickly typed in a short prompt followed by --p. I literally gasped when I saw the result. How did MidJourney figure out my aesthetic so well from me rating images? It's a tool and obviously not suitable for every use. We also have sref, cref, and plain image ref for when we want to give specific directions. But it's awesome when I want to make an image that I am going to like. They know my style better than I do.
It's a very powerful tool, but I'm glad it's easy to turn on/off. I use it about half the time. It depends on what type of images I'm creating. I think they are going to reset the preference when they drop 6.5 soon.
