Well, this video just made our day! Thanks for your kind words. We'll be working hard to improve our tools, so that creatives minds like yours can make use of it. 👏💙
Midjourney is pretty bad looking when you try to use all the ‘limited’ tools to guide your image imo. Style for instance is often crap (compared to Leonardo for instance). When you leave it free to come up with stuff it’s fantastic though. But for professional use, you need that control
I wonder if they simply store everything their clients generate and add those variants generated by others to your results. They are an image bank after all.
I'm late to the party. I am an avid MidJourney user and love its quality. But many of the tools they talk about doing in the future exist now already here in Freepik. Remove (and inpaint) a background, expand (which is zoom and resize and pan all in one) and new things like Sketch work really well. The reason the grass wasn't working in his sketch was that "grass" needs to be in the prompt.
The sketch to image is great. The ui overall is more tuned to designers rather than midjourney's more code like style which can be a plus for some and the upscaler is quite better too. But after quite some testing i find it that for my liking I can get to a great final image way faster in midjourney and that the overall results are far superior, granted that the way to "speak" to the models is different and i could probably still optimise further in freepik. The 20 image max upscales in freepik, however, is not good at all, specially cus all the real "magic" happens there. Im glad to see some competition and to see they're doing quite allot of it right. will be keeping an eye on this tool.
After the upscale tool, the image you get is literally MidJourney level but only after the upscaling before that it will look unpolished. Though you only get 20 upscale a day which is not bad you just have to choose wisely which image you want to upscale.
I dont feel limiting yourself to a few options of lighting or styles is really a good road to follow.. You should just be able to "prompt it" - like some of the simpler ai image generators where you are forced to prompt everything you want and use your own creativity, like telling your own story /writing a novel.
Freepik, is far from the quality of midjourney. The freepik ai generator is equivalent to dall-e. The render parameters that you use with graphic interface in freepik are available in text format parameters to include in the prompt of midjourney. For the speed, you have 3 levels of speed for midjourney. For the moment, midjourney remains the leader. Maybe it will change in the future, but not for today.
Thanks for the video! IMHO getting the workflow right and supporting creators in all critical parts of their journey is the key here. The gap between models will be non-existent in months anyway, and those who nail user experience will be the winners.
Awesome! FYI, when the plants you drew at the end wouldn’t appear even as you added them, it’s because you have to add them to the prompt as well: ie “little plants on rock” updated in writing as well as changing the sketch. Looking forward to trying this, Thanks
02:28 ..that look exactly like I need them. They do not look like the generated image you show! MJ gives u quality, FP gives you quantity.. FP can't replace MJ at the moment. Also Magnific is insanely pricey.
Great video. The code you provided worked and is awesome. Sorry you’re taking heat for an unsponsored video. Totally unnecessary when you are providing education and access to a tool. Keep up the great work!
Freepix didn't get hands right. I tried creating a family photo and the hands and some body parts were misaligned. Out of the many created only a few were usable. Mind you, I haven't tried other styles.
Dude, nice effort. However you're not honest. Tell people that it has a LIMITATION on the number of the generated images for one day. Like 12 or something. So, that means, one prompt.
Changing to turbo mode and using --r 5 or higher will result in several images being generated quicker within Midjourney simultaneously (while using within Discord). Plus, I am sure the generation time will be ironed out in future iterations to be much faster, as well as the current UI be overhauled to allow for better options in subsequent versions. (Particularly with knowing about certain styles before choosing to generate an image for example) Midjourney will always be king in my opinion. It is only after upscaling within Freepic that there is somewhat of a semblance of quality compared to Midjourney. Otherwise, it is below par.
Does this mean that I need to have only freepik and I’d have access to magnific too? Does freepik still cost 20 bucks a month? Bcs magnific is a horrendous $50 a month.
Freepik now have the options Flux fast, Flux and Flux Realism which grants AMAZING results and much more faster than MJ. Really guys, freepik with those new models, its breaking any other image generator.
The time gained in generating the image is widely wasted in searching or fine-tuning for the image that fit the purpose. Even Leonardo AI is closer to MidJourney (tested with same prompt) while being faster (35s) and free. So Ran, unless Freepik is a friend of yours, You should go for Leonardo AI for faster generation and better result. And I'm not affiliated !
I think you have'nt used the adobe firefly thats just amazing in quality and results also in speed, thats the competitor of midjourney, not the so called freepik.
You can easily do all that and even much much more totally free locally on your PC..I am never going to understand those website or people who used them

love you❤🎉
New Start up companies jump in everyday forgetting that old ones were here for a long time - @Freepik is 14 years old.
This is insane. What about ideogram 1.0, does freepik put it in a coffin as well?
Lol
@@TheChromePoet ideogram is just a basic demonstration ...
Its faster and more options yes but they all look so much worse than MJ
Excuse me how?
@@mosesakinyemi2563 Try comparing them
True, the workflow is to create the images and then upscale them to get midjourney or better quality.
It's look like a bit cartoonish
@@abats8305 Probably sponsored or a favor he did by showcasing it on his channel.
Thank you so much! You convinced me to keep using midjourney!
Haha! Fair enough
Freepik looks like Midjourney from a year ago…
The quality looks
It's based on Stable Diffusion.
The quality of the art from midjourney is obviously better.
I think too

@@IvoKlerkbruh you don't know what you're talking about. There's a whole bunch of ways to get the result you want
When someone clearly doesn't understand Art. Yes, more options. But terrible results.

The drawing workflow has me excited. That’s going to be a game changer when creating custom imagery

Not really. Upscaling doesn't improve to MJ level. The quality begins at core generation.
I dont feel limiting yourself to a few options of lighting or styles is really a good road to follow.. Love your content btw🩵
it's probably OBS
it's probably OBS
Just the video that I needed, thank you for sharing!🎉
I am also using it from the last 4-5 months and was wondering why no one in Design community is not talking about it
Content policy is much more strict than Midjourney, which was already strict
Freepik results are amazing! and its easy to use, customise
the sketch to image feature is the best i've seen so far. Thanks for sharing
You're welcome!
thank you
FreePik Has always been great at their image selection and quality. Great video!
Midjourney's results look wayyy better though. Great start to the Freepik team
You're right, but the esthetic is very specific, not necessarily what you might want/need
Awesome!

Thanks for the tip!
Yes, I know this is not the best and definitely not better than Midjourney. But this will get better with time for sure. I'm optimistic here
No it won't... it will always be based on Stable Diffusion, just like Leonardo.
Thanks for sharing this awesome set of tools
very intuitive user interface!
where can I find that alpha, midjourney?
What camera do you use to capture that video?
Tried it a bit. Makes a pretty decent job in real time.
What about Adobe Firefly?
It looks promising!
thank you, i already had a freepik account and youve just saved me $30 a month having a MJ aswell!!
Lol
this is amazing...I've had a Freepik account for years now and never knew its power until your video today...wooow!!
thanks very much Ran 😄👌

Quality > Quantity
Freepix didn't get hands right. I tried creating a family photo and the hands and some body parts were misaligned. Out of the many created only a few were usable. Mind you, I haven't tried other styles.

Dude, nice effort. However you're not honest. Tell people that it has a LIMITATION on the number of the generated images for one day. Like 12 or something. So, that means, one prompt.
If I use freepick, do i really have to add the attribution line “Designed by Freepik”? Especially when I use these photos for ads?

And the cost isss.....? You neglected telling us the cost?
Since its inception everyone has been trying to one up Midjourney and honestly none of them can really compete on image quality. NONE!
We dont care about time even if it take 30 minutes we need quality
tl;dr: Nope!
This sounds brilliant. Is it truly free and if so, how sustainable (free tools are often only temporary). I'd happily pay for this.
freepik is not free🥹
That's exactly what they are trying to do .. have you pay.
I think you have'nt used the adobe firefly thats just amazing in quality and results also in speed, thats the competitor of midjourney, not the so called freepik.
those AI images are pretty bad 🤐
currently freepik is like MJ v3 especially for human, it's just look like plastic.
i love freepik
the fluxacademy code doesnt work by the way.. the code is invalid
same here
Yes, it says I have premium for two weeks, but selecting premium options is not possible. Lame way to get people to sign up for real Premium.
No its Stable Diffusion ...
No it wont. Quality is at Mj v4 level.
It's some turbo model.
stevie wonder designs
killed? wow, that's a stretch
good jobs freefik
So Freepic isn’t free though eh. Great video will def checkout thnks
They're legality allowed to depict Apple products this closely? This is very surprising.
Had to park to watch this 😂
😂
Drive safely!
its faster yes but ai generator still stupid no comparing with MJ or Dall E 3😅
other tools good yes
You have been happy to get it in 10 a year ago
Mate....Just look at the quality yourself. There is not even a comparison 😂
it looks like the freepic is making a ton of s*t results! Midjourney is still on top, it makes exactly wat you are asking for!
I would prefer quality over quantity anytime.
Is it reasonable to say that a minute is "a long time"? Probably not 😄
Freepik...is it free?
freepik looks so bad, have some patience with midjourney brother.
Daily downloads ---> 10/day
Daily AI image generation ---> 20/day
it's a BIG no for me...
Unlimited on paid plan though, that's more than midjourney offers.
Nicee
just a lot of shitty options
If I get 1k likes I will start my Design Agency.

My potato PC can't handle
Dumb remark. You need at least a 3060ti to get reasonable results .. and that is 400 bucks.
useless video, freepik has tons of midjourney assets.
Haha watching the video and realize MJ is way better 😂
lame
I prefer playground, its by far the best. Nice sponsored ad. This channel has turned into a sell out

How do I add specific tags to the file names? this is very useful for SEO / E-commerce website
Do you know if it can handle "consistent characters?"
