Huge fan of Bosco Sodi works for years, I love the presentation of the sphere sculptures in this show, quintessential Sodi philosophy. Thank you for the tour, so good 🙏🏻
Like many of my fellow commentators, I too am blown away by the exciting work of George Rouy. I'm getting a DeKooning meets Bacon vibe from his work and agree that the work feels immediate and compelling as though the painting itself is daring you to look away. Thank you for including Rouy in this video.
You have the best RUclips channel: Intelligent, beautiful, educational and free. I don't know if I should continue subscribing to this channel. I think I'm falling in love.
I love you r channel. The filming is excellent, it's well paced. Your commentary is knowledgeable and helpful. I love the whole tone of each video..... very calm, and a little pleasant music coming through occasionally. Thanks so much.
First time watching this channel. I agree with you, the George Rouy works are very compelling and immediate. Very reminiscent of Francis Bacon and Gerhard Richter, two of my favs.

By the grace of God got selected for exhibition titled 'Application for the patent of a paper boat 'at Chelsea AGORA Gallery from 6 th to 26 th June this year ❤❤❤Artists Francis Antony Kodankandath and Shirly Joseph Chalissery from Kerala, India ❤❤❤
Please let at least part of the discussion be about the actual artworks. For example, the Pittman work leaves me confused as to what I am looking at. To my eyes it has the density of collage that would be difficult to do by hand and much easier to do with computer tools. As they say - and I agree- “it’s all good.” Still the artist’s commitment to the work influences the meaning of the work.
F. Bacon and W. Dekooning say, a solid C- and not a bit more. when asked why they both responded, all his work has the look of a rehashed grad-level thesis show. not that it's bad, it's just the same stuff over and over. we see stuff like this in most trending galleries today. some dude's gonna come up with a rebus and the critics will cheer the new art again.
2nd set of paintings look like tapestries. Last artist was very Francis Bacon. The other three artists, meh. You do a great job of being objective which is something I can't do.

What materials are Emanoel Araújo's sculptures made out of?
Love you ❤
Why the commercial gallery focus consistent throughout your videos ? Is it because you cannot film in museums etc?
