This score is so cryptic and vague that it doesn't help you improve. It's frustrating and discouraging. I got a 3 success score and all it says is effective communication, negative impact. However, I respond super quickly and always update buyers and follow up with them. I have all 5 star reviews and repeat orders and everything. It doesn't tell me exactly when or how I gave poor communication. It's like a teacher giving you an F on your test but can't tell you which questions you got wrong. I don't like it at all.
I am also facing same issue.. I was on level 2 and now due to this success score I have been demoted to level one.. and my average rating is 4.9 and have 59% repeat buyers.

This system is incredibly obscure and frustrating. I still don't understand the criteria for evaluating many of the categories, and the fact that we can't rely on public reviews adds to the problem. The five-star rating system is currently pointless and is going to create more distrust between sellers and buyers. I hope they realize and fix these issues before it's too late
The seller rating system indicates what past clients thought of your work (its optics for future buyers), success score measures how effectively you’re running your business on fiver

Fiverr is always doing trash updates. I have worked like 5 years in there. From that long time, there are issues that sellers experience. Even little issues like struck middle in the file uploading and start to reupload the files again, when there are multiple files to upload. They don't update that simple things. Instead they always give pressure to the sellers. That pressure made me less interest in Fiverr and reduced my energy that I gave earlier for projects. If someone can make a better thing than Fiverr, I would definitely move to that.
Fiverr has never been friendly with sellers. A buyer comes, says he likes your work, and give a 4 star rating, and Fiverr starts to freak out that you are doing bad to their precious customers. so Fiverr demotes you even when a client thunk 4 star is good.

It is stupid this system. I drop from 2sd level to level zero after getting 300 sales and made more than 10k with 150 5 stars reviews. I got tipped for almost all my orders. But the new level system said my clients were highly unhappy

I only have 10 cancellations which are cancelled by fiverr itself and it didn't affect my previous ranking. And all completed orders got 5 star reviews with minimum 15usd tip

I suspect that AI shit is doing the same with me. I have a repeat client and we talked about a new gig, and guess what, the success score went from 8 down to 6 for no logical reason, as the client is happy with my work. I think it's the causal talk which is tanking my score. And all that because of a single chat (which is still in the process to begin with). Such a subjective and foolish system when it comes to this score. As for others, I have Rating 5.0 Response rate 100% Orders 13/5 required Unique clients 11/3 required I'm trying to pass the first Level and because I keep the prices not so high and the Gigs are not the kind of Gigs with high amount of revenue I am still at the Level 0. But this 'sucess score' crap dropped from 10 to 6 without even getting any new order in like a month, and can drop even lower. Also there is no feedback on how are they choosing to rate this one.
@@deleted-u5g I know I definitely think that's a factor, I started responding with very overly formal "Greetings, ..." type messages like ChatGPT would generate and I think that helped
I hate the early delivery part. I base all my gigs off getting orders done close to their due date to give myself a good pace since Fiverr, for me, is a PT job. We shouldn't be penalized for not delivering early. I started giving longer delivery dates to counter this. 😂

The most frustrating thing is that people place orders without even communicating with me to see if I'm able to do this work or not or if I have time to work on this order or not or to make sure we're on the same page, even tho I have written in BOLD LETTERS to communicate first before placing the order but what happens that they place order and then if I have to do it no matter what to avoid cancellation even if I don't want to work, and if I don't work and cancel the order, then one order cancellation can impact my profile rankings heavily negatively. But I've been a victim to this and because of this my profile got deranked for 2 months. Now this new stupid level system sucks and confusing.
Don't you think it's unfair that now we are being punished for metrics we knew nothing about? I've always made sure to keep the old level metrics at %100 for 9 years, but now out of nowhere I'm at 4/10 success score, and it doesn't improve no matter how many new orders I get. The ''delivering early'' thing is probably ruining my score too since we have never been told about how important it is to deliver ''early'', the old metric was based on delivery on time and we were happily following it. So, I think there’s a lot to unpack here. “Unfair” is a strange stance I think since fiver provides the platform that facilitates business in the first place they are the ones to manage how it works. It’s just the standards they’ve set for how business should be done on their platform. Ultimately it’s to facilitate positive business transactions which should be the goal for any freelancer I think. Will it makes things tougher for some freelancers? Sure of course it will. But that’s all part of the journey

My fiverr profile has been struggling ever since I created it a year earlier. I've made 3-4 clients but one of the clients placed around 11-13 orders so shes a repating buyer. All of my projects have progressed smoothly with 5 stars but the new level system shows me ranked at 4 with gig visibility severely affected due to conflict free orders having a negative impact. I don't understand, how can fiverr really understand my client satisfaction? Clients leave 5 star review and communication is good but now the score for this parameter is negative. Looks like i should do much more than what's asked for my price. If fiverr wants only pro sellers I should probably set an higher price that deserves this service
Thanks, I listened for a second time and checked what Fiverr tells about client satisfaction. I can't till understand which parameters will Fiverr select and how can judge the communication as everyone can have different ways about it. I just understand I should perform in the best way I have and then will see what happen.
The only reason they wouldn’t be showing in search is if they were somehow banned for a TOS violation. If that’s not the case they are likely showing just not in a prominent place
I dont know if anyone would answer but I am so frustrated right now. I have an account and it isn't getting any order for more than 5 years. i have done everything from changing keywords to gig images changing and everything but nothing seem to work.
This new system is really bad, my success score is automatically going down with anything happening, I don't have recent cancelation and my buyers are satisfied but the score is still in reverse side, from 9-8 and 7 now. Fiverr should respect the sellers as well.

Thanks Mike, great video. But I think we need to read between the lines. Fiverr now operates on the stock market and has to satisfy shareholders and investors. I think the previous system made it harder to really identify the good sellers from the bad. Fiverr only really wants to promote the good sellers, and the new success score is a way to separate the sheep from the goats.
Why wouldn’t they want to promote the good sellers though lol? It makes no sense to run a marketplace that allows for junk to be sold. That would always be the goal, publicly traded or not
Today this Happened my success score was 7 and I was working on project in a Laptop since 4 hours. Suddenly i have check my Account there is a msg from new client and he msg me 2 hours ago but i didn't receive notification on my Phone and Laptop then i saw my Success score was dropped from 7 to 6 😢 what can I do now.
Okay, i completed 497 projects, review 300+. Just before the new update i had to cancel a order as i was late in delivery. My canceled order in 500 is 4. My success score is 4 not changing even a little. Launched new gig nothing changed not even single order. My gig is not being shown in search. What about buyers who don't leave a review after completing the order? Does that also affect the success score? Because this is beyond the control of the seller. And if reviews from buyers do affect the success score, do you implement certain methods so that customers are willing to give reviews after completing gig orders? Hi bro kindly clear me 2 points. I was new seller and I used to make 2-3 gigs every second day and those get 100-200 impressions and 1-2 orders but after 2-3 days their performance start declining like low impressions and clicks. @MikeNardiTV I'm heartbroken. It took me almost a year on the old system to go from New Seller to Level One. I had all five star reviews from everyone who left a review. Only one person did not leave a review and even that client stated she liked my work. I took off one month for health reasons and went back on the platform immediately after recuperating. And now under this new system, I'm a Level Zero. And my success score is zero. I don't even understand how that can happen. I'm devastated. This was the only extra money I could reasonably make due to my disability, and now that's gone. I dont believe they even show my gig anymore because my view count drops every single day, and I've been back on the platform now for over a month. I just don't know what to do about this at all. How do they expect you to improve anything if your gig is not even being shown to try to have a client review it and buy your gig? Any suggestions? This is just awful. 😢

This so called 'success(!) score' is just ridiculous!!! What skillsets? Delivery time? How stupid!! I can delivery a low quality product fast, but if I want to make it high quality, I will always need more times!!! There are sellers who deliver their clients rubbish products, of which most clients have no idea!! Like others say, "this score basically tells nothing" about anything. What’s different about upwork in this regard? They’re still a publicly traded company with their own similar priorities to fiverr

Without specific context on what negatively impacted your score its tough for me to say. Have you asked fiverr for more clarification?
Make sure to reply them on order page not in chat.

I don't understand, how can fiverr really understand my client satisfaction? Clients leave 5 star review and communication is good but now the score for this parameter is negative. Looks like i should do much more than what's asked for my price. If fiverr wants only pro sellers I should probably set an higher price that deserves this service

Thanks, I listened for a second time and checked what Fiverr tells about client satisfaction. I can't till understand which parameters will Fiverr select and how can judge the communication as everyone can have different ways about it. I just understand I should perform in the best way I have and then will see what happen.

My gigs stopped being promoted before the fiverr new update. All my gigs are not showing in the search place....
The only reason they wouldn’t be showing in search is if they were somehow banned for a TOS violation. If that’s not the case they are likely showing just not in a prominent place
I dont know if anyone would answer but I am so frustrated right now. I have an account and it isn't getting any order for more than 5 years. i have done everything from changing keywords to gig images changing and everything but nothing seem to work.

This new system is really bad, my success score is automatically going down with anything happening, I don't have recent cancelation and my buyers are satisfied but the score is still in reverse side, from 9-8 and 7 now.
Fiverr should respect the sellers as well.

I don’t know if they necessarily reset, but time and good track record moving forward probably helps a lot
That is terrible . My success score became 8 to 6 today . That is terrible . I have done more than 400 orders . Zero cancellation !! 5 star ratings all time. . This system is damn rediculz. !!!

Same here. I didn't even get a new order I just started chatting with a happy repeat client. That was the only change and it just dropped from 8 to 6

Thanks Mike, great video. But I think we need to read between the lines. Fiverr now operates on the stock market and has to satisfy shareholders and investors. I think the previous system made it harder to really identify the good sellers from the bad. Fiverr only really wants to promote the good sellers, and the new success score is a way to separate the sheep from the goats.
Why wouldn’t they want to promote the good sellers though lol? It makes no sense to run a marketplace that allows for junk to be sold. That would always be the goal, publicly traded or not

Today this Happened my success score was 7 and I was working on project in a Laptop since 4 hours. Suddenly i have check my Account there is a msg from new client and he msg me 2 hours ago but i didn't receive notification on my Phone and Laptop then i saw my Success score was dropped from 7 to 6 😢 what can I do now.
Okay, i completed 497 projects, review 300+. Just before the new update i had to cancel a order as i was late in delivery. My canceled order in 500 is 4. My success score is 4 not changing even a little. Launched new gig nothing changed not even single order. My gig is not being shown in search. I was usually a first page seller.will it change it self ever?
Over time as you interact with more clients and complete more orders of course it will change

Hi Mike, I have an issue with my sucess score. I do have (3) 5 star orders and (1) 4.7 star order and my clients are happy to my knowledge. But my success score alone stays at 0 since a long time after fiverr introduced it. I dont know why it is not getting raised. Is there any solution to this? Yes same Problem here, i was Lvl 1 seller, with 4.7, with 17 Orders, but Success score is at 0, i don't know what seems to be the problem
Focus on clients and good delivery, also, watch this video from start to finish 5 star orders are not the only factor
It could also mean that success score just hasn’t updated yet or maybe it’s only based on new orders

What about buyers who don't leave a review after completing the order? Does that also affect the success score? Because this is beyond the control of the seller.
And if reviews from buyers do affect the success score, do you implement certain methods so that customers are willing to give reviews after completing gig orders?
Because I feel that more and more buyers are not giving reviews, either because they are lazy or something else.

Not every client is going to give a rating, but the ones who do are the ones that matter most

Hi bro kindly clear me 2 points.
I was new seller and I used to make 2-3 gigs every second day and those get 100-200 impressions and 1-2 orders but after 2-3 days their performance start declining like low impressions and clicks. So I used to make gigs and delete , repeat.
But now after new level system I get only few impressions 10 may be although metadata and keywords are good.What to do?.

I was having 4 gigs, but i have scored in 3 gigs. 3,5,4. My totall score was 4.4. But after removing 3 scored gig. My average score turned 4.4 to 4.0. why?

@MikeNardiTV I'm heartbroken. It took me almost a year on the old system to go from New Seller to Level One. I had all five star reviews from everyone who left a review. Only one person did not leave a review and even that client stated she liked my work. I took off one month for health reasons and went back on the platform immediately after recuperating. And now under this new system, I'm a Level Zero. And my success score is zero. I don't even understand how that can happen. I'm devastated. This was the only extra money I could reasonably make due to my disability, and now that's gone. I dont believe they even show my gig anymore because my view count drops every single day, and I've been back on the platform now for over a month. I just don't know what to do about this at all. How do they expect you to improve anything if your gig is not even being shown to try to have a client review it and buy your gig? Any suggestions? This is just awful. 😢

@@MikeNardiTV thanks for answering, after watching your video it is clear now. Sometimes I get spam message from people's asking for order/work, so I ignore them and replay later. If I replay them right way I would have use some hars word, so I needed to calm down myself fist before answering.

Those who have lost out will probably drift away, since the only way to recover seems to be to bring their own business and start again from there. But the main reason for joining fiverr is that they do the marketing so sellers don't have to. Except, you, obvs ...
Ya it’s an interesting situation. On the one hand I understand it will negatively impact some, but on the other I think it does a lot for increasing the bar of excellence on Fiverr… which for many has been very low over the years

This so called 'success(!) score' is just ridiculous!!! What skillsets? Delivery time? How stupid!! I can delivery a low quality product fast, but if I want to make it high quality, I will always need more times!!! There are sellers who deliver their clients rubbish products, of which most clients have no idea!!
Like others say, "this score basically tells nothing" about anything. All it does is to increase the sellers stress and anxiety, and hopelessness.
I think, sellers should double or triple their prices on Fiverr because that is the level of value Fiverr is demanding from its sellers(and that is at a very cheap rate! 5$?). So, why not raise the price two to three times?

I'm talking about 'delivery faster' than usual. I am a book editor/maker. A book requires revision after revision to make it perfect. If I have to create a book within 2 days just to make sure I am being 'super fast'(because Fiverr like quick delivery!), then, my quality will surely drop! Or, I am forced to drop the quality....
But anyway....whatever....
