Did very well on Fiverr. I started at $10-20-30 gig pricing. After The first THREE gigs I raised the gigs by $5-10…all I wanted was the REVIEWS. After the next TWO gigs I raised again. Did that for 1.5months. Ended with my Basic package at $160, advanced was $195 and premium was $265. Averaged about 3-4 orders a week. Remember, shoppers have NO idea when you raise prices. They see a review and it looks like the previous buyer bought at your CURRENT PRICE. Good luck guys
Very true, same thing I did and currently run prices very similar to yours. Today just reached my $100K earnings mark after almost 3 years with Fiverr.
Yo, finally i found someone who is guiding us how to sell audio services on fiverr professionally, i would really appreciate a video on how you communicate with your new buyers on Fiverr and also it would be great if you show us how to set everything properly like portfolio, adding projects etc
Hi Cory and Taylor! Thanks for sharing your experience and being transparent of the process. This gives a better idea of what to expect and how to leverage upscaling. I haven't been active on Fiverr for a while, but today decided to get on there to create a new gig. Just found your video and this helps a lot. Much success on the 10k subscribers in 2024. Thanks again.
Thanks for the tips! Started doing Fiverr charging for mixing what I normally charge my clients, I've been an audio engineer for 10 years now and have a good portfolio, so I charged what I normally charge but I've g gotten 0 clients. I'm gonna start lowering my prices to get the ball rolling.
I see mixing and mastering as low as $20 on there. That’s crazy. I’d love to know what you guys started out with charging. To gain clients, what is a good starting point?
@@citytonightproductions $20 for all the work one has to do is crazy 🤦🏻♂️ Im gonna start at as low as $100 for the 1st rate. Lower than that is difficult
@@JeanmarkRodriguez that’s my thinking too. Plus fiver takes $20 from every hundred so really you’re making $80 then pay income tax on that… I get the whole start cheap and build but it’s worrisome that A) I’ll attract the wrong clients B) the time commitment to do that cheap work and not have it pay back later down the road. I know my worth as a recording engineer and producer and how much time it takes to deliver a fantastic end result. And working for $80 is tough to swallow at first.
I tried both fiverr and soundbetter years ago, was able to get a single client on soundbetter but it was always crickets on the fiverr side 🤔 but anyways, time to go find your studio tour so I can see that analog gear 😅
Thank you. Very helpful tips. Would you be willing to share how you make your comms more efficient? For example do you have request for info templates, feedback templates, instructions on how to submit tracks etc? Thanks
uhh. I'm thinkng if I could find someone from fiverr to do pre-mix edits on several vocal tracks because I don't have time to do it myself, never ordered from fiverr and I'm worried about the quality :/
Absolutely, there's undoubtedly a skilled individual on the platform ready to tackle this. It's on you to sift through their portfolios, hunting for the maestro who can bring the precise level of excellence you crave. My suggestion? Dive deep with a barrage of questions, meticulously articulating your vision for the task. This is your chance to orchestrate brilliance, so seize it with style! - cory/chatgpt
My biggeat tip. DO NOT JUMP INTO THIS WITHOUT BACKUPS. For this money isnt gurenteed. Ive started doing it to make money on the side, that mixed with my in person clients i make enough.
Yo, that other guy scared the shit out of me

@@tersan5043 Thank you!
Great tips here, I've been using fiverr on and off since 2016 and what's kept me away for the last couple of years is I couldn't manage burnout.

I’m in the same boat, 0 traffic so will adjust my prices accordingly
Similar situation, do you guys recommend a price to start at that’s worked for you to gain traction?

When done a project, do you just send a snip of the final project or watermark it in some way until the client is happy?
Nah, I've never been burned before. I send the final files.
I have been burned once or twice in almost 1000 orders. So I just send final files.
how are you guys handling the taxes on fiverr?
we live in Canada and we pay income tax

im watching this at least in part because of the resemblance to charlie day.
