Tombows are really pricey I am having a hard time just choosing one pallette. Ana's videos are very helpful and I think I'm leaning on the Cottage pallette! Like Ana said It's very balanced but the Pastels are calling meee!

Thanks so much!! I'm so glad it's been helpful :) haha those are good choices!! Like you mentioned, the Cottage Palette is more balanced, and it has some really pretty pastel tones! But yes, the Pastels Palette is also super pretty, they have some really pretty tones. I hope you enjoy whichever you pick!

Oooh, good question! I think it depends on what you want to use them for. If you just want an all around great set of colors that give you a lot of flexibility, I'd say the Cottage set. It has a balanced collection of colors that gives you nice contrast all around. You can always water them down and use them as watercolors without losing pigment. However, if you want to use these markers for something like bullet journaling or light washes, then the Pastel set would be great. The Pastel Set is great for what it is, but it is very low contrast and can sometimes be hard to see if only using those colors. If I want to use them in lettering designs or illustrations, I find that I usually have to pull in something darker (like a fine liner or a gray) to help them pop. I love them both, but tend to use them differently. I hope this helps!
