Hey Ray thanks for all your help! I was able to successfully add the mods to my lambo. Even add a little touch of my own. I added flames coming out of the exhaust and a lambo symbol in the middle of the mesh cover. This looks way better than the original set thanks again!
Hi Ray! Really loved the modifications you made! Very impressive! Would really appreciate if you can send or share your part list required so we can do the same? Appreciate it! Thanks!
Thank you so much! I am new to this hobby so have not done good record of my mod work. Someone has helped to create part list for some mods. You may find it in the description of this video. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any specific question I will try my best to help.
Awesome mods 👍🏻 One thing though, did you know that the rear engine cover does actually detach from the car as a big panel? I think the hinged engine cover is more practical, but it differs from the real car where TLG's design was pretty much spot on
Thanks! Yes I know the engine cover of the real car doesn't have a hinge. I just think it is a much cooler this way as a display model. Well, as the real car is highly customisable, maybe Lamborghini can make one if the buyer wants it, hahaha!
I love the finished model but I hated putting it together. It took 8 months because I found it extremely tedious and at times confusing with the instructions... These may make it "look better" but I ain't touching it again!
Fantastic video and great modifications. Which leads to one question though: Why does the engine compartment not open all the way to begin with!? I am just building this model and I am shocked to see that it does not open all the way! I also have to take the car apart again (thank god not all of it) because I made a mistake with the doors! Argh, I hate that. Anyhow, cool video. Thanks for posting.
Thanks! But sorry I did not produce a tutorial or step by step instruction. I am new to this hobby. You may pause my video to look at how I did it. In case something still not clear please ask again.

Hello Ray, I bought the lambo 2 years ago and now just getting ready to build it. I have been analyzing your video for some time now. I started ordering all parts for all 9 mods. My only question is where do you get the rechargeable small battery, on/off switch, and the USB charging circuit? Is this something that when battery life is running low, I can plug it in overnight. The next day unplug, close the bonnet, and run the light till the battery runs low again, and repeat the cycle using the on/off switch? Thank you in advance! I'm excited about this next build.
Thanks for the interest in my mod! I got the small lipo battery and the charging circuit board and switch from a local electronics shop. I have not tested but the lipo battery should be able to light up for a few hours. Then I can charge it full again.
Thanks! Sorry I did not make a record of which part I have swapped out and which part has been added. I built it in a trial and error way. Please reference to the video image and if you still have question I will try to help as much as I can.
Thanks! I can send you the parts I used if you can let me know your email address. I will then send you the .xml file which you can upload to Bricklink.
Tried to follow your Mesh Engine Cover mod. Any chance you make a part list? It's the base and bricks I need to a guide to, the rest of the pieces like the slopes and meshes im okay with.
The base is 5 studs wide and 13 studs long. It is composed by a mixture of 2 x 4 plates, 2 x 3 plates, 1 x 4 plates, 2 x 1 plates and 1 x 1 plates. If you pause the video you can get a nice top and bottom view of the base. It is not difficult to figure it out. Hope this helps.
Where can I buy these extra parts if I may ask? I don’t have any extra legos and I’d appreciate if I can buy some extra parts. Just the Engine Hinge parts.
You can buy these extra parts from Bricklink.com. Unfortunately I did not keep track of which part I removed or added. It was my first time doing the mod and a video of it so I was not well prepared. Sorry!
Where do you get the parts for the modified exhaust anywhere you can buy them? And can you try to show how to take off the required parts to put in the modified exhausts
