Very nice interface. But, I have had to use the play back option over the weekend. I can see how to take pictures in play back. But, I do not see the movie option. Fortunately. The very good phone application has the function of making little movies.

Setting encryption key no longer works on Internet Explorer 11 or IE-Tab in chrome
Some Text Box is sent to the browser under the {Local}{Image Format} but then the browser hides the Text Box and there is no Encryption text box between {Local}{Image Format} and {Local}{Record File Settings}
I deactivated Encryption (from the local menu directly on HIK monitor OR from the mobile app) but I still have the message "Live View Failed" in both IE 11 64 and IE-Tab Chrome (even if WebComponents are installed, no plugin message)
If possible, upgrade your operating system to Windows 11, then you can direct access with google Chrome, No need plugin or IE tab

Hello, how do I add a custom view cameras or arrange camera in the order I would like to view on the web interface? help please : using CHROME ( identical vers. & same Google accnt.) on 2 different PC's ( one Win10, other Win7) ,, (2) HIK cams work fine on Win7 machine, but neither HIK CAM shows logon screen on the Win10 PC... SADP displays HIK cam on W10 with correct IP (HDCP), dbl click opens CHROME window but logon page is not displayed ( can't connect? ) Is there a WIN10 security setting blocking this? thnx

How do you view it live outside of your wifi? It only works when I'm on my wifi only. I can't view the desktop view. With my cellular Hotspot. I have my port forwarding g set correctly. Suggestions?

Search IE Tab on google, then install IE tab. After successful install, please click icon IE Tab on up Right. After click you can browse your dvr ip address

Saya menggunakan DVR Hikvision yg sudah support audio over coax (lupa tipe nya), ketika akses via web, live view tidak bisa, diklik tidak ada error, indikator cam disebelah kiri muncul logo play hijau kecil, tapi tampilan liveviewnya tidak muncul.
Tapi jika playback muncul videonya normal.
Masuk ke configuration, menu Local tidak muncul, adanya hanya System dsb. Jadi tidak bisa setting live view parameter seperti di video.
Solusi nya bagaimana ya?

Iya bisa coba gunakan ivms 4200, setelah berhasil di tambahkan, bisa klik remote configuration. Oy pastikan password yang digunakan adalah administrator, bukan operator atau guest

I', forced to download Chrome... then an extension, IE, whatever that is. It still doesn't work; there's no 'Local' tab under configuration. So what's the solution?? "Make sure you access device by local IP address'. Well, how else but type 'I92. etc'?? OK, so I'm using a ten-year-old Mac desktop, so not the latest, but the AI gibberish that passes for 'support' isn't helpful. Try again Hik.

UPDATE: was able to get online remote PC live view of Hik DVR camera stream by using Edge browser in Internet Explorer mode and installing plug-in when prompted.
When i click on play Butten its hang the browser but playback works fine live view is not working Please help

Simple laughable how in 2023 Hikvision doesn't show live view in a browser. Surely we aren't in 1980 any more. The extension above costs $6 a month. No thanks just to view live feed. Pathetic.
