The senko is the most universal bait in bass fishing. Most anglers learn how to fish a senko before anything else. Advanced anglers often forget the power of the senko but that is a mistake. Let's be clear, GIANT bass will eat the senko!
We know some of these tips are crazy and off the wall but if you try them you'll be amazed how effective they really are. Good luck out there!

Why does this channel not have 500,000 subs? I've caught more fish off of things you guys have taught me than any other channel. You straight up excuse my language know your shit.
Marcus Long keep watching these guys! Huge advantage over people that don't! Some of the things they talked about in this video I thought nobody was doing anymore! Senko on a jig was new to me! These guys are the real deal!👊
Thank you Marcus!
agreed. I used to fish flukes like how everyone does and it worked ok but as they mentioned the hook ratio was bad so I kind of stepped away from it. After watching one of the videos about rigging it up like the banjo minnow, my ratio has gone way up and I've actually bought more flukes lately compared to senkos. I'm a big believe of the original banjo minnow cause it worked like a charm and now with the fluke rig, i'm loving it again.
Marcus Long definitely one of the best bass channels out.
Marcus Long because its mostly west coast tactics
Haters gonna hate... but on pressured waters and with pressured fish or just sometimes finicky fish, a slightly different presentation is key. Try this stuff out before you bash these guys. People kill me. Matt and Tim, great video.
Pressured lakes suck.... Best way to get them is a reaction bite, and nothing triggers that better than "What the fuck is this?"
For real! I fished a highly pressured lake just today, and tried to catch a bass we saw right off shore near some reeds. We dropped all kinds of stuff right on her to try to get her agitated. We musta tried for 30 minutes, she never bit and she never left the area. We gave up, but stayed around (if there's one there's more, right?), and this guy comes by so we tell him about the fish. He has a senko, exact same color as one I had already tried. Difference is, mine was rigged standard texas rig with a bullet weight. He has his weightless, and texas rigged, but not at the head. He has it texas rigged riiiiiight in the middle. Dude plops his bait in right where we were (pretty much on top of her, she was
I love the "line shy" technique and use it almost all the time. Thanks for the other tips as usual.
Hahaha I was legitimately looking for senko videos just two days ago. You guys are the best and read my mind. Also eco pro tungsten make wacky weights where it's a disk weight with a wire going through it. You put the eye into the bait and then rig the hook through that eye. You're still in the plastic but it's nice because the metal eye of the weight helps prevent the hook ripping out
Nice timing!! I just got a bunch of new Senkos and Finesse Worms from Tackle Warehouse. LOL.
When I wacky rig I always use 2 O-rings crossed so that I make sure the hook is facing the right way. An easy way to rig it without buying additional gear.
You guys are such a great duo. You feed off of each other’s info with such respect. Get along great and work a together as a team. I see how you look at each other when the other one talks and listen to each other. Keep going with everything we love you guys. Tactical Bassin masters.
I just recently started throw a senko on a wobble head. the action is awesome and i get to cover water while dragging it over just about every piece of structure i can find
AWESOME! Great twists on one of my favorite baits! Every video you guys make is full of good fishing info! Keeps me coming back!
Another thing with the wacky rig is so you don't have to buy those specialized wacky harness is you just place to wacky rings on and just make them cross on the senko and thread the hook thru the X. Turns your hook still but saves you money
Ben Greenawalt Save even more $$. Saw this on another video. Buy the little rubber bands for "braces". Double up one band at the head of the worm and roll it down to where you want it. You can hook it either way.
Awesome thanks for sharing your knowledge and passion for bass fishing shows in every video!!!!! Great job.
I've been bass fishing for ten years everyday and never have thrown one because I used to see guys only use it and never tried anything else, I like the challenge of doing different things. Love the videos bro, I got a bunch of senkos in my boat, I cut them in half as a ned rig
BAM!!! You guys kicked it up another notch.
You guys are becoming my go to channel for bass fishing tips👍. Keep up the great content.
These are some great methods you guys are sharing here. I was especially surprised to see the "harness" method you described at 4:30. I've been using that method for several years with great success. The big difference is that I've never seen the harness before, I just used 2 o-rings and crossed them over each-other. You didn't mention however what I believe is the most important benefit of this method; when the hook is parallel to the Senko, there is more of a chance for missed hook-ups by the Senko sliding out of the fishes mouth when setting the hook. When it's perpendicular though, the hook tip is positioned pointed up into the fishes mouth when you make the set.
Wow guys, Great video! Just learned so much more about rigging these baits!
You guys are great! Such a great way to learn. Thanks for all you do!
Man you guys are a great team and ANOTHER great video! Thank you
One of my best days fishing this year I got lazy and wacky rigged a senko on a 3/0 EWG with a 1/4 bullet weight on it. I felt like a fool on the first cast, but after the 4th big one I felt like a champ. Thanks for the video definitely 2 or 3 ways I would never have thought of.
I'm going to try a few of those today. Awesome video.
I have used all those techniques but one! Senko on a jig? Never heard of that! Thanks and I will definitely give it a try guys next time I am on a jig bite!👊
Amazing video!! Thank you guys so much for sharing with us!! God bless and Tight Lines!!
My mind is actually blown...had no idea there were so many ways 🤙🏽
excelente tip . pesco muy seguido con zenco y hay varios arreglos de los que explicaron que no conocia. saludos.
Nothing would make my day like watching a video of you guys catching a fish on the jig-rigged senko. As always, great content.
LOL!
You two put on a great video . The little things to do to present the Senko are awesome. Tim Little a Spotted Bass World record holder and Matt Allen all around knowledge. Its great to get some of your secrets on you tube. Keep these videos coming.
Thanks so much Brian!
Thanks guys, I will try a few of these today!
cant wait to try the split tail tomorrow! keep up the great work brothas
Great stuff for a newbie like me. Thanks.
Senkos work like no other bait, and these guys have ways to rig that are like no others..a jig? I like it and can't wait to try it on our unsuspecting bass here in az!
Matt, if you could keep this channel going forever that'd be great.

The split shot rig has sure got me alot of bass and the screw in spinners worked on redfish for me in the gulf
Boom there you go.
Do a 15 way senko challenge
Soooo i cant beleave theres 79 people who disliked this video. Makes no sence to me because this is the best sinko rigging video ive ever seen. These 2 guys are by far some of the best at what they do. Ive cought many fish from these informative in depth videos that teach us hard techniques that are still simple enough for a guy like me to understand and put to use. Keep these videos comming guys. #1 in my book.
What makes no sence to you makes no cents to me. Go coutch you some more.
Nice one. Lol. Got the bassx today and cant wait to have some fun with it.

Good video didn't know there were that many ways to rig a sinko going to try asap
Great info. Very thorough!
I've learned so much from these guys.
Great video ton of info you guys are great thanks for your videos
You guys are the greatest! I can't wait to get out on the water and try these. How come there are not many video's on how to fish a heavily fished body of water and what to look for and where to look on that new body of water you never fished before but many people have?
can't wait to try a few... thanks
I definitely learned something new from this video! and not just talking about the wacky rig jig lol
Imma have to try that wacky rig jig going into late fall and winter just let her soak and every so often bounce her off the bottom. Thanks for the tips and ideas
Excellent once again! 💪🏼

My favarite jig for small mouth were im from i use a 1/8 oz white marabou jig with a white 4 inch trout worm wackey style ive caught a 16 inch small mouth of of it
Great Channel that I watch regularly and definitely the most informative and well presented channel I watch. Even though I am from South Africa the content is very usable. I therefore have a question. I have been fishing a new dam that by American standards would probably be a pond or small creek. The fish are generally holding on very steep chunk rock banks and bluffs. In some instances we fish shallower banks with boulder rock. The quality of the largemouth bass, they are believed to be Florida strain that were stocked many years ago, is very good considering we are quite far south with a moderate climate. Lately we have seen that the bass are very partial to a Senko but we are in a drought so the water is currently relatively clean. During summer rains the visibility can drop to and remain at around 6 inches. What would you do to a Senko style bait for the fish to find it in muddy water?
Great tips! Just subbed. December will be here in less than a week and I am in Northeast Georgia.....fishing on Lake Hartwell, boat less so fishing from the shore....any vids fishing from shore during the cold months?
Good job guys.Thank you
Senko on a jig?..🙈🙈🙈💣 I'm trying it! Good work boys
Awesome! Thanks guys!
How does the 5" yum yum compare with a senko? Great video. Just to let you know I also thread a 5" yum yum up the line. I did find it helps the bait to fall flatter and puts the hook further back on the bait. It also give the bait longevity.
Thanks Henry Schmidt
I hate to admit it but I've never fished a senko but after this video I think I need to start fishing one. Great video guys keep up the good work.
Ty Ellis you are definitely missing out! Awesome bait!
Ty Ellis grab a couple packs. You won't be disappointed man.
i guess i'm going fishing today got to try the jig/senco combo
Great video thanks!!
just earned yourself a new sub
Can you do a video on fishing the delta at low tide.
Fished a senko for years. Never noticed the bow!
I love to put them on a shaky head then cut the tail in four sections like you guys did in the start of the video. Shaky head keeps that cut tail up and the fish smash it here in New England.
great stuff lots of info
Love your vids man. I'd LOVE to fish with you sometime. Lemme know...we'll have fun!
I cracked up also on the wacky rig part. Tb is still on top!
Try a weightless texas rigged worm
great video!
Good stuff guys!!!
Great info!
Man, who could put a thumbs down on that video? I mean really!
Thank god for this channel
Wasv a bery nice place
Great tips. Quick question have yall been using the new released larger kitechs? If so what ways? 7.8 on swimjig, the heads Matt created, ect?
Guys great video like always ! But if u put a jig on a senko I'm not a scientist but the extra weight would make your senko fall faster?
Have either of you guys ever tryed used the weighted stick bait hooks that they make. I don't know the exact name brand on them. I found them at Walmart and I use them a lot for Texas Riging on stick baits and crawls. It's just something different that I've never seen a video on and didn't know what your input was about them. Just curious to know your thoughts on them if you've ever use them.
What size nail weight do you use?
Thanks for vids guys.
I have another trick that I use. I have a Eagle claw weedless wire hook, or a circle weedless hook and hook them like the saddle in the middle. These hooks just goes everywhere!
Good tips. Ty
What about the big magnum senkos wound you do the same please let me know thanks love your videos wish I could afford to come up there and fish with you and have you ever though about coming to East tn and try fishing
"I don't know. It turns the hook the other way!" That's good shit. Lmao.
What's the best Texas rigged senko setup like rod reel line etc
Can I ask what make and where to get those scissors you used. Thank You
On the weighted nail senko.. Should the hook be pointed toward the non- weighted side?
What bait boxes do you guys use in the video? The one at the beginning of the video with all the senkos in it?
I am new to fishing. Does the bow of the sinko face out or into the hook?
What's the best Texas rig setup that's not to expensive. Like rod reel bait hook line and weight
I know this video is well over a year old and I have watched it before but I just noticed the box that Matt is holding at the 15-20 second point in the video. I've never seen one like that before...What is it?
how can i get the blades on without the cork screws.?
