I’m so grateful that they are still touring. I first saw them in 1971, last time 2019 with Charlie. They are the best.
First saw them for their last ever show in the UK, at the Roundhouse, London, in March 1971...

They sound good. But I miss how Charlie snapped the drums.
I think Jordan went back to more like the recording on some songs. I read that he listened he took different versions of Charlie’s parts. Some are from his early 70’s live D’s performance’s as well.
Nobody trumps Charlie, but Jordan is def doing an amazing job. Stop whining and just enjoy we can hear the legend coming to life yet once again.
I loved Charlie's drumming,but over the years he changed. He used to have this really cool shuffle feel when they played Chuck Berry type songs and he abandoned it for some reason. As he got older he kind of just played the same beat just at different speeds. Unless the so f called for something really different " Waiting On A Friend" etc. He never played those Kenny Jones kicks at the end of "It's Only Rock and Roll* Steve does. They used to track extra hi hat beats and things.Steve does them all. His sound is a little more heavy but I think he and Daryl really lock down. And it keeps Keith steady. But yeah Charlie was a one off I was devastated when he passed .

Ils n'ont plus le son ! L'autre canule de Ron Wood ne sait toujours pas prendre un chorus ! Depuis 47 ans qu'il joue avec les Stones cela prouve sa nullité, son vide musicale. Les Stones se foutent de la gueule de leurs fans depuis très très longtemps! A l'inverse, Steve Jordan lui, c'est joué, bravo ! Et prendre la place du légendaire Charlie Watts c'était pas évident. Mais ce farcir Ron Wood le baltringue depuis 47 ans, avec sa frime , sa chienlit, lui qui a été embauché pour son côté festif ( drogue et picole ) et non pour sa sa qualité ( il n'en a pas ) de guitariste, m'insupporte ! Que ce zéro, ce néant, soit dans mon groupe préféré m'est insupportable . Fermez le banc !
