Seán Buí translates literally as Yellow John, but it was a nickname for John Bull. The second tune is one of many I've picked up from Clare concertina player Dympna O'Sullivan.
Very nice playing Tony, and two lovely jigs, particularly the second one. Just learnt it and can't stop playing it! And a lovely pace too, which gives the tune room to breathe.
