I wish I'd done more than take on this...I was so out of time with the click. I hope that you guys can do better. Do as I say, not what I do...or something like that :D
By the way, I was recording on physical tape at this point. I would have to unplug, rewind the tape, and then check that what I played was in time. I was very new to this. It was a simple life!

@NorthBroadcast Good question! I prefer electronic drums to record because it's simply easier. They're also perfectly tuned every time, as if by magic ;) You can't beat (no pun intended) the feel and sound of real drums though! Rob
Rob, thanks so much for this lesson and your generosity in sharing your knowledge. Good tips on dealing with "so-called" mistakes and continuing on, boy am I familiar with that one. There's a joke: "if you repeat a mistake, then it becomes jazz!" :D

This is great, already knew the song except for the solo bit in which I always left out the crash but you're a really good teacher just in the way you are - not too serious but not too laid back!

Thanks for the lesson. It helped tremendously. I cannot seem to get the crash on the fa de le dump, so I leave the crash out. Otherwise, great. Do yknow what Taylor does coming out of the chorus?

Hey mr drums the word I think your vids are pretty cool. I was just wondering what electric drumset and amp you have and possibly A link to those if its not too much trouble, keep up the great work.
@gkc25 as much as we all like that idea, dance of eternity is a real pain to put into tabs not to mention long and everchanging. I don't think he has enough time to put that much time to a single proyect like that...not to mention the youtube video would be like 5 hours long...
