Hey ladies, a makeup tutorial of sorts, in relation to your wig colors would be a great video, in my humble opinion. You often speak of adding “a little more blush and lipstick” for certain wig colors, but a demo showing what this can do and for which wigs/colors would help those of us who, tend to use less makeup as we age. Thanks for all you do and all you have done for so many. 😘

This format of video is great for those of us ( like me) who cannot seem to choose between color and style. It helped me to understand how a wig, Trixie in this video, is better suited to a particular face shape rather than another. Though this is not my favorite wig of all your great styles, the color comparisons were so helpful when seeing one style in all the shades and colors. As a “ wig virgin” , I worry most about how being out in the wind will point out the edges of the wig, and may blow it off completely even though it secured as you show us. My forehead is average and my head circumference is 21 and 1/2. There is a consultant within driving distance, but wonder if she would have your super ability to choose the best styles for each face shape.

You can always add a wig grip to hold your wig on also. You can find them on the website here also I believe under accessories. I use it on some of my wig's but not all, some just fit with the adjusters perfect. I love the Freedom wig and Trixie so far haven't tried any others. The wig's have beautiful soft hair fibers. I fill all the wig's here will have the same beautiful fibers in my opinion.

Hi Ro! Trixie is one of my favorite shorter wigs. Mine's in Mocha-H. I found her to be one of the most versatile of the shorter wigs. You can do so much with it. I love to take side pieces and layer them forward in different and sometimes complex ways. Trixie stays put. She's the only wig in my rather extensive collection that seldom if ever needs spraying to stay where I put her. Rooted colors make Trixie one of the best wigs to show off a color you NEVER in a million years thought you could wear. In my case it was Mocha-R, and on me it looks almost like Champagne-R. My skin has VERY pronounced yellow undertones and most cool colors wash me out. But put a root on them and they look fantastic! Thanks for letting me air my love for Godiva Secret Wigs. Love it! I might try ordering Trixie in Silver Stone, but it's just so much darker in the back than I really like. I wish you made more of your wigs in a lighter silver grey/white color. My natural hair is white, which I love but it's so thin that I had to start wearing a wig. I would love to have several different styles but the best I have found that works for me is Abigail in Silver Mink. I love the style, it is perfect for me, however it's got a blonde tint to it, and I would prefer all white or white with a touch of light silver gray in it. Just something to think about. Thank you for the great videos and for making these amazing wigs! They are a life saver for me.

Our oldest daughter has it after taking care of us and now our youngest daughter took a weeks vacation from work to drive from Nashville to take care of all 3 of us. She's had covid so we hope she has a natural immunity to it. None of us have had the shots and will not have them. My husband's Dr. told him yesterday that we were smart not to take them. He had all the shots and boosters and still came down with a bad case of covid. I do hope you are feeling better soon. XOXO
Okay, I jumped in and ordered Irish Spice in my preferred style, Sheila because of this video. Though Trixie is a pretty wig, I already know how Sheila looks on me so no fear there. I received my wig Friday and it's beautiful! It only takes 2-3 days to receive the wig (awesome). For me, I believe that when I want to try a new color, I'll try it in Sheila or Courtney. Sheila is my go to and favorite, also my first Godiva wig. I'll be trying some other colors too, I'd like a darker red next time, I think. Thanks again ladies!

I fell down about 7 months ago and had to have a reverse shoulder replacement and still have a difficult time using my right arm. 💕

What you can do is streak with spray on color or dab roots with a darker eyeshadow, then finish with our low alcohol hair spray. Hi Karen, great question! The first time you try a wig on, it feels snug; like a knit cap, but not tight like a bathing cap. It's just like wearing contact lenses or eye glasses - something that we're not used to will turn some of us off. It's just the learning curve - give it 10 to 20 minutes and you'll tend to forget you even have it on. Our wigs are all adjustable - the goal is to have a snug, yet comfortable fit. If your intention is to get used to it, you certainly will, without any issue for 95% of women. Another part to consider is the weight of the wigs. Ours are typically just 2 ounces and up and our wefts are open and airy to allow your scalp to breathe; thus not inhibiting hair growth. So many of our clients around the world own 2 to 20 of our wigs; if they were uncomfortable, I don't think that would be the case. Interesting that not one of those is truly cut the same. And... those cuts look completely different on each of you. The cut on the silver wig is best. And this shape looks much better on Mom.
Hi Ikn, some of us are used to everything being cookie cutter. However, wigs still have human hands creating and sewing them. Each one is beautiful. Danielle has a longer neck; I have a rounder face and we each have different shaped heads and preferences for the way we like to wear a wig. Sometimes I just run my hands through a wig, sometimes I brush and style - no matter, I love each and every wig! Thanks for watching! Ro

For the price, I'm surprised that you don't include a mono part and lace front. The lace front is optional, I suppose, if one wears bangs, but I won't buy a wig without a monofilament part or monofilament top.

You can always add a wig grip to hold your wig on also. You can find them on the website here also I believe under accessories. I use it on some of my wig's but not all, some just fit with the adjusters perfect. I love the Freedom wig and Trixie so far haven't tried any others. The wig's have beautiful soft hair fibers. I fill all the wig's here will have the same beautiful fibers in my opinion.

Hi Ro! Trixie is one of my favorite shorter wigs. Mine's in Mocha-H. I found her to be one of the most versatile of the shorter wigs. You can do so much with it. I love to take side pieces and layer them forward in different and sometimes complex ways. Trixie stays put. She's the only wig in my rather extensive collection that seldom if ever needs spraying to stay where I put her.
Rooted colors make Trixie one of the best wigs to show off a color you NEVER in a million years thought you could wear. In my case it was Mocha-R, and on me it looks almost like Champagne-R. My skin has VERY pronounced yellow undertones and most cool colors wash me out. But put a root on them and they look fantastic!

Love it! I might try ordering Trixie in Silver Stone, but it's just so much darker in the back than I really like. I wish you made more of your wigs in a lighter silver grey/white color. My natural hair is white, which I love but it's so thin that I had to start wearing a wig. I would love to have several different styles but the best I have found that works for me is Abigail in Silver Mink. I love the style, it is perfect for me, however it's got a blonde tint to it, and I would prefer all white or white with a touch of light silver gray in it. Just something to think about. Thank you for the great videos and for making these amazing wigs! They are a life saver for me.

Our oldest daughter has it after taking care of us and now our youngest daughter took a weeks vacation from work to drive from Nashville to take care of all 3 of us. She's had covid so we hope she has a natural immunity to it. None of us have had the shots and will not have them. My husband's Dr. told him yesterday that we were smart not to take them. Okay, I jumped in and ordered Irish Spice in my preferred style, Sheila because of this video. Though Trixie is a pretty wig, I already know how Sheila looks on me so no fear there. I received my wig Friday and it's beautiful! It only takes 2-3 days to receive the wig (awesome). For me, I believe that when I want to try a new color, I'll try it in Sheila or Courtney. Sheila is my go to and favorite, also my first Godiva wig. I'll be trying some other colors too, I'd like a darker red next time, I think. Thanks again ladies!

I love Trixie in about 4 of your colors!! Rochelle how can I punk it up a little like you did to your Kelly wig in one of your previous videos? Hi Paula, you cannot dye synthetic fiber. The color will fall right off. What you can do is streak with spray on color or dab roots with a darker eyeshadow, then finish with our low alcohol hair spray.

Hi Sassy, we do not carry any human hair wigs - and never will; I think that is your concern; since Human Hair wigs can become a "pesky" problem. High quality synthetic wigs are like trying on sun glasses or a hat. Like trying on clothes in a clothing store, wigs are similar. The truth is, if you can watch our videos and practice as we show you with our wigs - there isn't a wig we offer that is "difficult". How do the wigs feel when they are on? Do they feel like you have a hat on? 💗
Hi Karen, great question!
The first time you try a wig on, it feels snug; like a knit cap, but not tight like a bathing cap. It's just like wearing contact lenses or eye glasses - something that we're not used to will turn some of us off. It's just the learning curve - give it 10 to 20 minutes and you'll tend to forget you even have it on.
Our wigs are all adjustable - the goal is to have a snug, yet comfortable fit. If your intention is to get used to it, you certainly will, without any issue for 95% of women.
Another part to consider is the weight of the wigs. Ours are typically just 2 ounces and up and our wefts are open and airy to allow your scalp to breathe; thus not inhibiting hair growth.
So many of our clients around the world own 2 to 20 of our wigs; if they were uncomfortable, I don't think that would be the case.

If it feels “funny,” it means you don’t have it on quite right. You’ll have to get the elastic adjusted to a comfortable fit. ❣️❣️❣️

Interesting that not one of those is truly cut the same. And... those cuts look completely different on each of you. The cut on the silver wig is best. And this shape looks much better on Mom.
Hi Ikn, some of us are used to everything being cookie cutter. However, wigs still have human hands creating and sewing them. Each one is beautiful. Danielle has a longer neck; I have a rounder face and we each have different shaped heads and preferences for the way we like to wear a wig. For the price, I'm surprised that you don't include a mono part and lace front. The lace front is optional, I suppose, if one wears bangs, but I won't buy a wig without a monofilament part or monofilament top.
