I watched most of the games that Deon played. He was just so much faster than any of his opponents. It's a shame that he wasn't given more chances in the Springbok jersey. Now it's just box kicks and big forwards in the backline, walking into tackles....

Absolute legend for the Bulls. Loved watching him play for N.Tvl as a youngster. Was a shame he never earned a bok cap as he played very well for the midweek team on the Springbok tour.
