You don't ask Chuck Liddell to coach you if you are planning to for for a nice points decision! Alex clearly going for the KO in the rematch (or re-re-rematch?). Who's your pick, 9days out??
No disrespect to Izzy at all but it's probably because he's a point fighter. Rarely see him pushing the pace in his bouts and realistically never really takes to much damage either and that's props to how good he can be more than anything.
I am an Izzy fan but have to admit that Alex Pereira's stand up is Izzy's kryptonite. I keep hearing that IZZY was winning the fight and got caught in the 5th round. He was actually losing physically and damage wise. As much as I love IZZY, he was mentally and physically losing the fight in so many ways. First of all, Alex is much bigger than Izzy and appears to be 20lbs /30lbs heavier after hydration. Alex is physically stronger proven when Izzy could not keep him down on the ground despite his lack of wrestling. Alex's left hand is a sledgehammer and just as fast as Izzy and has more power. Alex has no fear of Izzy given that he has KO'd him several times. This makes Alex push forward and Izzy kept getting trapped against the cage too many times. As you unpack the fight, Alex touched IZZY in every round with hard kicks, knees, hard jabs and that short left. Izzy took damage in every round considering he has no fat on his body. Alex's knees and punches in the clinch did add up and made the different by the 5th round. Alex's kicks really hurt Izzy even when he checked those kicks. Izzy fell back into kick boxer mode rather that a mixed martial artist. Even when Izzy was able to wrestle.. his lack of wrestling skills and jujitsu was apparent. I say this because learning to defend take downs does not make you a wrestler or jujitsu master. Izzy could not keep Alex down or transition to any choke, arm bars, leg or heel hooks. If Izzy is to beat Alex then there needs to be multiple threats for Alex to process rather than just a standup exchange. Izzy needs a Brian Ortega, Nate Diaz, Cory Sandhagen or Yair Rodriquez in his camp for more creative standing and ground pound choke hold attack. Also, Izzy fought too cleanly in the stand up clinches and allowed AP to win those close exchanges. AP nasty clinch techniques were a problem. Izzy needs to find the same level of nasty strikes e.g. short elbows to the ears and eye sockets. All is all.. by the fifth round Izzy was gassed out.
He did, but didn't. Said he wasn't out of it when he very clearly was. Lol said he was watching Alex's feet. Izzy does that alot. He'll say something like "Oh I hit my nerve in the first round and that rendered me useless the rest of the fight, BUT that's credit to him." He makes excuses constantly but tries to wrap it in a bow.
And who cares? Watch the replay at 0.5 speed. The ref was really closely monitoring izzy. When he got knocked down he even yelled "fight" at him. Adesanya did not fire back at all and once he got knocked down did not ecen raise his hands to cover anymore. He was not intelligently defending anymore with 3mins to go. Good stoppage.

The grappling is what lost Izzy the fight in the first place, he’s not used to that, it gassed him like he’s never been gassed before in the previous 20 main events he’s fought in. He’s in phenomenal shape but grappling in a main event is not something he’s used to doing, he’s used to kickboxing range touch touch touch move, not expelling a shit ton of energy diving for a takedown and exploding through his opponent and trying to keep them down. I think if his camp has made a shift to super grappling heavy live goes, like live go BJJ comp training and really hammered it home, getting in shape by actually grappling and not just a circuit workout, maybe he can grapple Pereira to a decision or get a stoppage.
Alex is the better kick boxer, idk why people keep denying it and saying Periera just has power over Izzy, also Izzy's "takedown" was initiated by Alex lol, all of izzy's takedown attempts prior and after where stuffed... Alex has his number...
My heart says Izzy. My Brain says Alex. Alex is just so dangerous for all 25 minutes of the fight. You cannot slip up. There are no opportunities to regroup with a guy like Alex. If you're not a Wrestler then you've gotta be perfect for every second of the fight against Alex. Im sending my prayers to Izzy though. I really want him to pull this off
Dude was watching with thee other eye 👁️ Izzy complained 🤣😂he literally protested as soon as the ref. Stopped the fight and went on Eriel’s show and said he wasn’t out he was looking at his feet.
Body shots Michael, you can see it in the video, Pereira hit him with so many again and again. The Champ knows his weakness, go low and work middle. Yes Michael Bisping, he is looking at this fight to not only drop him asleep. Thus chasing his foe for so many years to back out. Thank you again.
Periera got into his head last time when he said “the first person who shoots for a takedown is a bitch.” But in the fight, Periera was the one who shot first when he was getting beat by Adesanya. Stick to your plan Izzy. Just do what you gotta do.
Pereira took away Izzy’s leg kick game , it looked like it really threw Izzy off. I think everyone is expecting Izzy to come out guns blazing though! Should be a great fight regardless!
He never said it was a early stopage ? Lmao Buddy went on tour the day after saying he was fine they should’ve let it keep going. Alex would’ve kneed his head into stand if that fight kept on

@@M_Flex you are crazy, everywhere he went he made excuses, literally in his video reaction he said that he wasn’t even rocked and even his brother had to contradict him
Izzy did say it was an early stopage.......he said he was looking at Pereira's feet when the fight was stoped............one more punch and it was proper KO, the referee did a good job
Bisping if you read this, please rewatch the fight. This narrative that Izzy is the better striker and was outstriking Alex is delusional. Watch the fight as an entirety, rather than round by round and you'll see a very clear picture of what it was all about. Alex lost the battle aka the rounds but won the war. It was not a fluke at all. No lucky punch that saved him from losing. It was a 5 round breakdown of Izzy, getting worn down and stripped of his tools and stopped.
Izzy is clearly the more skilled MMA fighter honestly based on how the fight went until the end. He just needs to work harder on conditioning for the kind of work he needs to do during the fight so he can be on point the entire 5 rounds. Also looking at Alex if he's not 20+ lbs heavier than izzy on fight night I'd be shocked. I think he'd do amazing at 205 and can if need be add a few extra lbs of muscle. Izzy if he can get out of his own way mentally vs this man needs to continue the work with his ground game and jujitsu will definitely help extend his fighting career and catch people off guard in fight situations if he needs to. Obviously he's improved immensely in his time in the UFC enough for people who are stronger wrestlers not to even try getting him on the ground or even unable to get him down and keep him there. I'm just curious to see what happens if it ends up how I think it will kinda like last time late rounds izzy ahead and Alex following the same gameplan he likes using vs Izzy wait till he needs the finish to win and then turn it on. I mean it wasn't the 1st time he used that tactic against him so safe to say he would do something similar again.
Dont see it happening. And this is their 2nd time fighting FFS. No one mentions Pierea losing during his career as a kickboxer? And if izzy and alex had a showdown in a roller skatin competition in 1993 would this make this "meeting #5"? Ffs
Michael Bisping is something else, worst analyst in the game. How can you say Izzy took Alex down? he never did, it was a trip that Alex initiated and Izzy rolled on top of him. Then Bisping continues to say that Izzy never claimed early stoppage, when he in fact did in Ariels podcast and others. Poor job by Bisping, but what to expect from a dude with CTE.
5:26 I believe his training partner is Yousri Belgaroui, a kick-boxer that Pereira previously had a trilogy with ( he went 2-1) . It’ll be interesting to see how Yousri will emulate Adesanyas style during camp for Alex and the adjustments he’ll make during the fight
Almost and the bell rang so it doesn’t matter Alex can pull that one off anytime too plus more KO power. If he triggers his left hoot he won’t just TKO Izzy he will finish him for good. Last time Alex waited till the final round to get the finish and that’s why it took a few shots to stop Izzy but if he triggers it early it’s a trip to the shadow realm for izzy
That this guy is in Mike's weight class in metal Clit'eroe's finest would still win. You don't grown up on the slopes of Pendle and get daunted by height.
Is the theory they said about Leon getting 30% better after winning the title going to be the same for Alex? Might see some insanity during the fight if i's true.
I am betting on Izzy! Not because I think he is going to win but because 95% of the public seems to be on Alex. Seems like a good time to buck the trend!
Izzy likes fighting, I’ll give him that. He was one of the most active if not the most active champs in modern ufc history for sure. He fought a ton. Put the belt up against Alex by choice.
I was a mediocre High School wrestler but my coach was a former pro wrestler and had a chin like a cartoon character. He not only taught us how to use our heads, but how to use our chins to provide discomfort to our opponents. It definitely worked for me on several occasions.
your wrestler coach hasn't faced a striker who can put him out with one shot that's all. Put any man who can actually throw a punch in front of him and he gets put to sleep.
Even if Izzy did win, he's still lost. 3 on the bounce to be exact. And if he won 1 he can't then go around saying he's the shit as he's lost 3 times more than he's won. When does this end? I think if Alex wins again (which is likely) then jeez he'll have dished out 4 whuppings lol. We need to be realistic. There is a new King 👑 in town. And his name is Alex Pereira 🤜
Izzy needs a plan and be aware each sec of the fight. I think he can win with cage IQ nd a different gameplan. Just stay in front and kickbox could lead in another KO in later rounds.

Izzy also stated that from a leg kick it hit a nerve and that was a big factor for him going to the cage. 2 warriors what a fight we have
Horizontal style bender.
Bisping rewrote the fight lol. He did complain about a early stoppage. He also never almost submitted Alex. Did he watch the fight ?
All love bisping all the way from Africa, Nigeria 🇳🇬❤
izzy didn't complain about an early stoppage because there was none
Alex is the better kick boxer, idk why people keep denying it and saying Periera just has power over Izzy, also Izzy's "takedown" was initiated by Alex lol, all of izzy's takedown attempts prior and after where stuffed... Alex has his number...
I mean stop riding Izzy, your acting like he was schooling Alex - it was a competitive fight and both men had good moments.
Izzy literally said he was fine and it was an early stoppage. He will get knocked out cold this fight tho.
it was his clitorial nerve bothering him.
He said shortly after that he was fine with the stoppage, and that he trusted his coaches.
Honestly bisping has a great channel his content is 🔥
My heart says Izzy. I really want him to pull this off
Hopefully izzy worked on his ground game because thats the way to beat pereira with ease
Yes God will be on IA side. God has nothing better to do that day.
Alex knocks out black guys like the 13th amendment never existed. Sorry Izzy
Dude was watching with thee other eye 👁️ Izzy complained 🤣😂he literally protested as soon as the ref. Stopped the fight and went on Eriel’s show and said he wasn’t out he was looking at his feet.
Ha! The Bogey-man... you Crack me up Mike 😂
Some might say he plans to leave him “Frozen like Elsa” 😂😂😂 jokes jokes
Everything comes around 😂
I want to see Izzy staring into space like Kamaru.
😂
Lmfao that usman staring and seeing his eyes glowing was funny as hell
Money's on izzy this time. Gonna bring a big grapple game this time round I reckon... But then again I'm a filthy casual and no fuck all!
Vetorri and Robert wittaker rooting for Alex so hard in this fight
Periera got into his head last time when he said “the first person who shoots for a takedown is a bitch.” But in the fight, Periera was the one who shot first when he was getting beat by Adesanya.
Stick to your plan Izzy. Just do what you gotta do.
Pereira took away Izzy’s leg kick game , it looked like it really threw Izzy off. I think everyone is expecting Izzy to come out guns blazing though! Should be a great fight regardless!
Did you get a new camera or lens quality looks sick
Alex takes this easy.
Lol
Lol izzy will take it
He never said it was a early stopage ? Lmao Buddy went on tour the day after saying he was fine they should’ve let it keep going. Alex would’ve kneed his head into stand if that fight kept on
Izzy haters really just make shit up, straight after the fight he said he thought it was a little early but his coaches told him it was a good stoppage and he trusts them, didn't complain about it since.
@@M_Flex you are crazy, everywhere he went he made excuses, literally in his video reaction he said that he wasn’t even rocked and even his brother had to contradict him
@@zubenelakrab7029 So the man can't give his own take on whether he was hurt or not? Just say you're a hater. Izzy never used this as an excuse
@@Lionsheartification that's just one example, he has done that in every interview.
@Zubenelakrab Ok so we are just going to ignore the fact that he also said multiple times that he was Ok with the stoppage?
People need to stop butchering Pereira’s last name and just pronounce it PeReira like it actually is…not Peheira Peeira
He did say it was an early stoppage
Idk what fight Michael saw because Izzy called it an early stoppage right away
Everytime Alex throws that left hand Izzy is going to be cowering
Dam Alex is looking pretty good in his training. Knockout within the first 3 rounds I reckon.
Izzy wasn't doing "amazing", he was doing enough to outpoint Alex. I believe Alex gets this done inside 3
Get the oxygen tanks ready
Well said Bisping. Respect to both warriors!
Izzy did say it was an early stopage.......he said he was looking at Pereira's feet when the fight was stoped............one more punch and it was proper KO, the referee did a good job
I think Michael meant it sarcastic
@@Tom242-b9s unfortunately I don't think he did
@@losethOS88 why would he defend Izzy 😂
He is clearly sarcastic
Bispings memory of this fight and how Izzy handled it are absolutely miles off.
Correct. If anything Izzy was on his way to survive into a decision. He was being backed up all the time.
The movie version would be him winning
Why the flip are there no comments about how bad chuck is aging? Nobody is training shit with Chuck.
Opening statement is so true, have to admire the hunger of Adesanya
Bisping if you read this, please rewatch the fight. This narrative that Izzy is the better striker and was outstriking Alex is delusional.
Watch the fight as an entirety, rather than round by round and you'll see a very clear picture of what it was all about. Alex lost the battle aka the rounds but won the war. It was not a fluke at all. No lucky punch that saved him from losing. It was a 5 round breakdown of Izzy, getting worn down and stripped of his tools and stopped.
Alex will go down this time
You predicted well 👏🏾
Izzy is clearly the more skilled MMA fighter honestly based on how the fight went until the end.
Did Bisping just say Izzy never said it was an early stoppage? geez Mike....
Chuck looks weathered so bad😂
idk bisping you should rewatch the fight, it was a lot closer than you are saying it was. Izzy was getting pieced up on the body and legs
Dont see it happening. And this is their 2nd time fighting FFS. No one mentions Pierea losing during his career as a kickboxer? And if izzy and alex had a showdown in a roller skatin competition in 1993 would this make this "meeting #5"? Ffs
The thumbnail lmfao… I can’t….
Let this man go 4-0 🇧🇷⚔️ Brazil ruling this card
noway. NZ is ready for the challenge. Alex is going out.
@@Edgycoo thats what he said last time , Now alex scares us more now boosted confidence
@@josho_reacts2.0 alex is a beast. I look forward to seeing izzys approach
@Dreamer i dunno man. With only one brazil champ and one muzzy, hardly domination considering how large both populations are
@Dreamer them 🇬🇪⚔️
Izzy was not doing that great at all. He was running around and dodging. Getting kicks checked. He landed a few jabs. And those 2 punches
Izzy got crushed. The fear will remain in his soul. Dead man walking.
You are an intelligent person body, to smart for this world
@@mrvistaelen too**
Michael Bisping is something else, worst analyst in the game.
If this video didn't convince you that Michael has CTE, idk what will. So many wrongs in one video it's insane.
Chuck is my favorite fighter of all time. His presence got me into the sport
Bro you done Izzy dirty with that thumbnail 😂
IZZY DID SAY IT WAS AN EARLY STOPPAGE
He was done
The man looks huge how he makes middle wait is unreal.
He has been preparing alex for a while now. He was his training partner for the last fight as well.
He needs to be careful tho Izzy almost finished him early
Almost and the bell rang so it doesn’t matter Alex can pull that one off anytime too plus more KO power. If he triggers his left hoot he won’t just TKO Izzy he will finish him for good. Last time Alex waited till the final round to get the finish and that’s why it took a few shots to stop Izzy but if he triggers it early it’s a trip to the shadow realm for izzy
What are you smoking... ALEX is the better kick-boxer look at his resume 2x champ in 2 divisions .. wtf has Izzy done in Kickboxing?
That this guy is in Mike's weight class in metal Clit'eroe's finest would still win. You don't grown up on the slopes of Pendle and get daunted by height.
Is the theory they said about Leon getting 30% better after winning the title going to be the same for Alex? Might see some insanity during the fight if i's true.
Not just one of the best fighters ever but also a great analyst and commentator of MMA. Respect Michael and cheers 🍻
Difficult to bet on this fight at this point .
You don't know WHAT'S gonna happen .
I'll bet on some prelim fights and the main cards ones, but not this main event. No way
Bet the house on Poatan
I am betting on Izzy!
Not because I think he is going to win but because 95% of the public seems to be on Alex. Seems like a good time to buck the trend!
Knowing middleweight Izzy will snap his leg on a check from Pereira
@@kaptainkush4351 Izzy is a Favorite even here in Europe ( 1.70 to Alex's 2.17 lol )
Hey Bisping, you’re undisputedly in my top five voices in the martial arts scene.
Izzy likes fighting, I’ll give him that. He was one of the most active if not the most active champs in modern ufc history for sure. He fought a ton. Put the belt up against Alex by choice.
I can't wait to watch!
UFC 5 Cover:
Perreira🏹 and Burns🤨
I hope Israel Adesanya can get it done this time 👍
I was a mediocre High School wrestler but my coach was a former pro wrestler and had a chin like a cartoon character. He not only taught us how to use our heads, but how to use our chins to provide discomfort to our opponents. It definitely worked for me on several occasions.
Chin grinding sucks
your wrestler coach hasn't faced a striker who can put him out with one shot that's all.
Bisping is not fucking around with the thumbnails lol
Izzy needs a plan and be aware each sec of the fight. I think he can win with cage IQ nd a different gameplan. Just stay in front and kickbox could lead in another KO in later rounds.
Last chance for the the Last Genderbender
this will be even easier this time around
He did actually say that it was a early stoppage😂
can go either way, izzy can move really fast and just touch him for 5 rounds, can even KO him. And if Pereira connects its over.
Bisping's a company man now
