I showed this song (the original, actually) to my mom and she said "Oh it's nice, but it's a bit creepy, isn't it? The thing about drinking the blood." and I said "Well, but what does the priest do at masses, tho?" and she was like "Oh. Well, yes, touché."

@@mihailostanisic4927 The Eastern Orthodox Church preaches transubstantiation by and large. The bread and wine literally become the body and blood of Christ. There are some exceptions within Eastern Orthodoxy, however the majority of the Eastern Church definitely believes the blood and body are consumed. The same way Roman Catholics do. It's not a metaphorical conversion like in the Protestant faiths.
Look into trans- vs consubstantiation.

Its a really good cover, but its not the only good one of this song in my opinion. Saltatio Mortis also did an awesome job with there version of this song. In case you didn't heard it before.
