Funny, I remember watching a news item where they focussed a camera on HMS Daring, there was a RADAR set in vision, where they made the whole thing disappear! It produced an artificial fog bank which hid it from the camera (even when on infra-red mode) and fired off chaff rockets that hid it from the RADAR. Thus rendering it an impossible target for any AS missiles, That is all that is needed.

Most of the ships built by countries other than the US are not actually "stealth" craft, but rather, _reduced visibility._ As it stands, any ship with a curved bow cannot be stealthy, as the shape will give a high radar return (unless it were to use radar-absorbent coatings, which don't work in practice on parts of the ship that contact the surface). Certainly the "Sea Shadow", the Zumwalts, and Sweden's Visbys qualify as "stealth".
Stealth technology in ships goes way back before this, the RN type 23 Frigate has a tiny radar return due to it's stealthy design and the first one was rolled out in 1987
There are other ships even before that with smaller radar cross section. The difference being that they were not designed with it in mind, e.i. focus on "stealth". Nice try, thanks for playing.
People confuse Stealth technology with ESM, ECM or ECCM. Electronic Jamming and Hacking are not part of stealth but apparently some of the ships on this list appear to include it.
I was on the Lancaster when it first commissioned. The superstructure was angled so that radar returns were minimised giving a smaller radar signature. Trouble was, the dockyard mateys complete lack of understanding of the science involved and the poor manufacture of the ship made this concept pretty worthless. We took it to sea for acceptance trials and the test firing on the 30mm single canons showed the sponsons they were mounted on to be too weak and so when the guns were fired, the deck flexed meaning the barrels vibrated and accuracy was impossible to achieve. The solution was to strengthen the deck so the dockyard mateys welded a load of struts underneath making a nice bunch of angles to return the radar signal that hadn't been there before. Additionally, the man overboard smoke markers and buoys had been fitted without regard to the fact that the superstructure was angled so that when they were released, they simply landed on eth deck below and the flare burned a hole in the deck paint. There were more issues but you get the picture. The worrying thing was that this was the third of class meaning two others had already been commissioned and accepted into the fleet. Surely THEY had found similar problems during trials and rectified them yet the basic design had not been changed and we continued to build ships with known issues. There is something not right about ship design and build for the Royal Navy which goes far beyond the obvious lack of weaponry mounted to our ships.
