    Bro, just wanted to thank you, followed your step by step instructions and took out the clock spring a treat. Believe it or not my clock spring started to work intermittently when I put it all back, so it’s due for a new one.
    Thank you once again 🙏🏽

    Hi! I've done exactly the same, but the backlights button (stereo) won't work anymore! Cruise controls backlights work perfectly. Any ideas?

      Is the volume controls plugged in correctly? 😬

      That's exactly what happens when the clock-spring is not in the correct position or not engaged properly with the steering wheel. Remove the steering wheel, turn the clock spring clockwise until it goes tight. Turn it back 3 and 3/4 turns. Now put the wheel back on, making sure to engage the pins in the clock spring with the divots in the steering wheel. That should sort it out.

    I just changed my clock spring, cruise control now works but my airbag light is on.. all connections are secure any advice?

    • @budget4x4life
      @budget4x4life  8 месяцев назад +1

      Disconnect battery again. Make sure you plugged the airbag in properly and then also checj that cable underneath clock spring that it is connected to it as well. Somewhere something not right 😬

      Is the airbag connection the big yellow one? With the green clip? I did have trouble getting that one in, I may have bent a prong 🤔
