  • In this episode of the RM250 restoration, the triple clamps and new head stem bearings are installed. I make another workshop tool to help with installation of the bearing races.

    This is like watching clickspring, but with dirt bikes instead of mechanical clocks.
    Good work with the bearing tool. Little things like machining the flats to take a spanner are what make these videos, most guys would have just used vice grips on the all thread.

      Huge compliment comparing to Clickspring - my favorite RUclips Channel! Thank you.

    I’ve been following these videos for a bit now, and as a result I’ve bought myself a worn out 93 RM250. I’m looking to rebuild the motor, but I can’t find a kit for it anywhere. I’m curious to know how you gathered parts for your bike? Did you have to buy each piece individually or were you able to find a kit for it somewhere? Also, what website did you use to find them?

    • @G9Garage
      @G9Garage  6 лет назад +1

      Jordan Breier the majority of the parts are OEM and come from either cmsnl or partzilla. Wiseco and the like do top end kits too and you can find them on eBay or other parts suppliers.

    Do u work every single part and then do a final assembly with everything clean and ready to go or do u do it all as you go?

    every time I see you put new bolts into aluminum without adding a small bit of grease I cringe.. always ALWAYS grease steel to aluminum threads. Love the vids BTW.
