Mat's heartfelt rendition of Bring Him Home always had me in chills and tears, no matter how many times I've watched it. ❤
This song truly frames Mat's clarity of sound and depth of heart he puts into his music. You can feel the songs message unlike so many others I have heard attempt this song. This includes some that have "performed" the song for the drama.
I agree. He puts his whole heart and soul into his singing....it lifts him up over singers who are just performing.
I wept when I heard this. Mat truly believes in every word he sings. As wonderful as the duets with his daughter are, I relished this solo.

It's a powerful song anyway, I've seen Les Miserables several times and cried each time, and this felt as though it came from the show itself. He belongs there with that voice. I just, this song.
