That’s a pretty sweet “modern” lever gun that I could actually get behind. Especially with the way you explain the features and benefits of it. As someone who now lives in a straight wall cartridge state of Ohio after 40 years of not, I definitely would love ❤️ a lever gun in a straight wall cartridge like 45-70, 444 Marlin and the new 360 Buckhammer. I handled a Henry Model X in 360 BH 🦌🔨 and I liked the fiber optic sights and threaded barrel but the plastic stock was weird to me on a lever gun. I am waiting to see if Henry listens to my suggestion that I sent them and chamber 360 BH in their All Weather series at Shot Show. I am not afraid of the recoil of the 45-70 and it’s in my top three lever gun cartridge choices along with 444 Marlin and the 360 BH.
There was a Dan Pedersoli case hardened walnut stock 45-70 Gov that I absolutely dreamed about when I use to work at Cabela’s from 06-16. Sadly never could afford the $1500 price point. I am still a fan of the case hardened look even on a Henry. But I also like Henry’s All Weather series with the stainless steel and black wood. I also like the grey laminate and stainless steel look of say the Marlin 1895 SBLs etc
As long as there no stupid ammo quivers on front and worthless bipods to make it less useful and catch on everything and add weight. The trapper levergun is a handy, small, short rifle that doesnt need a lot of crap hanging off it. The only real great modern upgrade might be the excellent electronic dot sight.

Cool rifle!
Yep leaves me cold.
Great video
Great show!
It's a close one between my marlin mxlr 308 express and my ruger m96/44
What's your favorite lever action rifle?
That's it 👍! I've got one just like it minus the accessories for now.
Oh and I did the safety delete. I hate the crossbolt safety on marlins.
Marlin 1895 Cowboy carbine with XS sights and safety delete. Run as they were originally designed!

NOT that one in the video!
Reminds me of the wind river movie. Levers can get it done too!

Great Modernized Rifle. How’s the Recoil with Silencer compared to other Lever Action?
Just picked up my trapper today and thinking of swapping out to magpul rail for now. But do you have a link for that suppressor
👍
Does it come in 444
I hope that chicken wing thumbnail was just bait.
I hear your arguments. And reject them. Also, the bipod just doesn't match the rest of the configuration.
was really wondering if there was even clearance enough to use the lever while prone using a bipod
