U say ur Wystone was about to run out, some guides say no wystone = no apex dmg (to knock out) but some others say u can knock him out even with no stone active. Can u tell me more about it please?
+Ninib Yagob The game most likely only keeps track of apex damage / calculates it whenever something colides with its hitbox. The paintball just updated rajang and made them game go "Hey, your apex meters full!" rajang already had enough wystone damage done to him, but the blow was dealt during a move that could not be interupted (some monsters have moves that render them unflinchable, such as rajangs blanka ball, shagarus sky roar, certain zinogre lightning charge animations, anytime dalamadur is moving around the map etc etc.....)
Uses Gs like a god, knows rajang's moves so well he barely get hit, charges because he knows the monster is going to jump back, not afraid at all, kills rajang and dosen't even carve, plays sao music as well: Bad-ass level over 9000

nice speed run, i wish i could do that to any monster also, any suggestions on a gunlance armor set or should i try a new weapon class, i haven't been playing a lot recently because their is still in game DLC that is locked out for us people in the states so that really pisses me off
OrigamiTim Chang :(, you should give it a try, it has 3 variations if your not aware, short only has 2 rounds but great for shotgunning with quick reload (good for this variation since quick only gives 1 shot back but significantly quicker) which i have yet, long is good for keeping your distance but only has 3 shots, and my personal favorite is the normal gunlance (the one from the purple crab, forgot name, gives you +120 when honed defense, great for soloing naked and afraid since u can't rely on skills) has medium range, but has 5 rounds in the clip, so it EXCELS at burst fire in addition to wyvern fire, creating mass dmg, even on a defender build with taunt

Shoryuken Pwetty easy :P The monster icon on the touchscreen shows whether it's normal (nothing written)/frenzied (purple w/frenzy written on it)/apex (reddish w/apex written). Also because he roars and this cloud of purple appears around the monster. Also because you start bouncing like an idiot >.
Ninjuk Seregios GS raw may seems small compare to Cera, but the ability to maintain purple sharpness can easily out damage Cera (especially in longer fights). Also you can put more skills into your armor since the weapon does not require sharpness+1.
So this GS is viable ? I mean, it's from the Seregios wich is a pretty weak monster imho and you unlock it pretty early so yeah, thought it wasn't good.
+Filocre Pandastic The top 3 greatswords are Rogue Sedition, Cera Cymmetry, and Black Fatalis Blade. Rogue Sedition holds its own weight because it has natural purple sharpness, decent raw, 1 slot, and the ability to sharpen itself.
You use a program called Athena's Armor Set Search (ASS), plug in the armor skills and it'll search mix armor sets for you with all the decorations and talismans.
Sorry for my ignorance but how is it your weapon would sharpen and please explain way stones. Ive beaten all previous monster hunters besides 3u so i understand alot but not this hahaha.
Also if you're soloing and if you broke the first apex on your first wystone try, once the wystone comes off cooldown, (or almost) then it means Rajang will be close to revert back to his apex form again.

CTStyles31 Just to deal more damage. Drive stone gives 1.15x sharpness multiplier (if I remember correctly)

Back then there was no Black Fatalis GS or GX Hunter armor, so Seregios GS was the best to use. (even until now)

Keep evading with your weapon sheathed. That gs in specific will auto sharpen ur weapon by tiny amounts
