also using weapons for power is still a must, you dont need to put skill points into the weapon, but attacks with the weapon still regen power even for superpower builds
Weapon mastery no longer grants power with the Hybrid focus, so it's pretty terrible for support roles. For troller, you want something that syncs well with your power-out ability, so something like shield or hand blaster. For healer, it's not such a big deal, but I personally like HB into bow WM, so I can clip it when I need to and do damage when I don't. Either that or shield, which I find gives the best power return. The point is to find something you can clip. There are a couple of exceptions. Brawling into MA WM syncs well with the power-out ability of trollers, and builds up supercharge faster than anything else. So, you're sacrificing power return for supercharge. Celestial, of course, has its own logic, but I personally like DW because it does very good damage. Weapons aren't really melee and ranged anymore. All weapons have some of each, especially with WM. For melee weapon damage, bow or 1h are best right now. For ranged weapon damage, it's DW or 2H. As you can see, you can' t tell what's best at what by what would be traditionally melee or ranged. For PffT loadouts, I prefer Rifle, because it has a lunge that I can use at range to stun enemies without having to leap into them. Hugely valuable for a ranged PffT character. Otherwise, it really doesn't matter, but you can save a skillpoint by using whatever weapon you started with. On my character, I use the retrofuturistic handblasters because they look awesome.
Can you make a new character on water now since its out

Can you make a fire loadout
