Across the board people have experienced more natural energy and changes in mood for the better. I’m also taking NMN. Today is day 2 and I already feel gradual energy improvement. I also take probiotics which aids with energy and digestion but I can definitely tell that I’m experiencing more natural energy with NMN and Resveratrol.
I put emphasis on natural energy versus taking caffeinated products and often times you may feel jitters and headaches etc. I haven’t experienced any dizziness or light headed feelings so far.
I’m really excited to know that each month I anticipate more and more improvement. I’m only taking these products for more energy. I’m already a youthful person so if I had slow down aging great but I’m really in this for the boost in energy and drive possibilities.

I agree. His face looks younger, and less gray hair. Yet he is 9 months older. Some of the benefit could be moving to the warmer, more humid Queensland.
He is not taking Resveratrol, so his benefits may be limited. (A body has *some* resveratrol, but he may be wasting his NMN without combining the two.)
Have you tried adjusting your diet & taking Resverotrol? No dairy, low meat and high whole food plant based. Try eating dried dates every other day to restore your hair colour.
Sinclair recommends you take NMN and resveratrol at the same time. He analogs NMN being akin to the fuel for the car whereas resveratrol is the gas peddle.

I am not taking any other supplements or medication. I wanted to isolate the effects of NMN and not confuse the effects with resverarol. Any yes, I may have a glass of red wine once a month, but I really dont think that would help.
in a recent video he also talks about taking quercitin with resveratrol, increases its effectiveness.. also evidence that pterostilbene may also be a good add on.
@@mattweiler971 I'm currently taking the Elysium basis pill which consists of NAD+ and pterostillbene; debating adding resveratrol back but unsure if that would be too much; I'll look into quercitin!

Thank you for your review. You may want to watch your own reviews because you look and sound younger or at least more energetic. It’s quite obvious to me. It doesn’t sound like the results are subtle at all. In fact they sound quite remarkable.

I eat small amount of meat (red and white), some fruit (one apple a day), the standard 3.4 vegetables. Have 2 pieces of sourdough toast for breakfast, no cereal, coffee with milk (full cream) and no sugar, pasta, approx 6 eggs per week. Very little alcohol, some sugar but not too much. Still like my sweet biscuits/cookies and even cake. I also eat pizza, chips/crisps etc. So a good diet. Not into low carb or high carb, just a balance.

What do you think? How many of these positive effects are results of improvements in other areas(Not 100% correlated with taking NMN)? For example, your better mental resilience seems like the consequence of sleeping better? And you are sleeping better because of taking NMN?

What made you up the dosage the way you did?
From what Dr Sinclair takes, reading other research articles, looking at the FDA guidelines for conversion from mice dosages to human equivalent dosage. In 2017 I took 250mg dosage each day for three months then stopped for 12 months. In June 2018 started at 250mg per day increased every 3 weeks to 500mg and then to 750mg per day. This was to determine the effects of increasing dosage.
Interesting. I started at 150mg, now at 300.

From what I know NR is converted to NMN, so I think that would increase the overall level of NAD+
@@mynmnjourney8284 Well what Tru - Niagen (NR) will tell you is that NMN is too big to pass the cell membrane and needs to be converted to NR first and then back into NMN. They claim that NR then is really the closest precursor to NMN INSIDE the cells....keep in mind NR is patented and more easily monetized therefore the propaganda surrounding it is likely meant to promote purchases. NMN is unable to be patented, although prices between NR and NMN are comparable these days.
Sinclair takes NMN over NR though so my moneys on NMN but time will tell.

Not sure where he got his NMN, but a cost effective one is prohealth longevity. I got a 250 mg / day six months of powder for around $1US a day online.

Awesome i have been taking 1000mg per day along with 1000mg on resveratrol. I wear contacts with a correction if -2.0 in both eyes. I noticed lately that my vision up to a few feet was deteriorating. I now started not to where my contacts and my vision is actually improving. Crazy

What’s happening with your journey?
I’ve had legitimate improvements in my eye problems (strain, allergies, dryness). Possibly dealing with cataracts, I literally put that inconvenience out. Taking 125 mg with resveratrol and Ubiquinol. 250mg felt very awesome! If you are nearly perfect health don’t expect some incredible experience.
Just saw your video that you published. It’s very interesting. You seem to have some positive effects, but you seem to be in great shape to start with. I have no idea if you taking any other supplements. What about adding Resveratrol?
I have eaten well and watch what I eat. Only walked about 2-3 kms approx 2 times per week before starting, which is well below the recommended levels/durations. So I believe I had a good baseline to start with therefore less impact from taking NMN than if I was overweight and/or no exercise.

Thanks Pat, I am not taking any other supplements or medication. I was overweight (BMI 28) and did the barest of exercise. Definitely not the daily recommended levels.
You look great! It's a big difference between the first video and this one. I look forward to hearing an update, and I'd love it if you could talk about different sources for NMN if you've done research. It's certainly cheaper to buy it from China but I wouldn't know how to verify authenticity or quality.

This chemical or molecule might actually WORK! It may indeed extend lifespan. It certainly does seem to raise NAD levels in many creatures including humans.

The suggested dosage is 2 tabs a day on the directions of the bottle. Did you find any benefits on a lower dosage?

Its a gradual, continuous effect I've found. Yes your skin steadily improves too and within a couple of weeks for me looks fuller and younger.
I noticed more energy within the first few dats.

I found that by working my eyes (looking at things at various distances) often, I was able get rid of my glasses completely in less than a month. Stare at your thumb for twenty to thirty seconds and then an object off in the distance, thumb again, something 100 feet away, thumb again, something twenty or thirty feet away etc. 5 minutes a day. I was shocked by the rapid improvement.

You haven't posted a 12 month update, with pics, as you said you would.....so I went back and pulled up your vid of 4 month mark and now, and did my own comparison: your hair is indeed darker, your face has lost about 10 years, in terms of wrinkles and sagging around your mouth and jowls. Your neck is tighter as well, and your stomach is indeed tighter, not big at all as it was in the 4 month. Good job!!

Alive has a nice website, but no real people and no factory behind it. They may be buying some animal grade powder from Alibaba, no proof they have tested anything, same with GENEX formulas

Last year there were 200K complaints. I don't mind if they buy the product from and place their shiny lids in China, but they should provide a valid 3rd party testing certificate from an accredited facility in the US. Compare Alive's website with TruNiagen (I am not saying I use their product). That is the type of manufacturer I am looking for a safe product. Michael, what grade are the restore-u pills you sell? Food, pharmaceutical? Do you think it may help to take the pill under your tongue instead of swallowing them?
i just started my journey on resveratrol and nmn, and I can say with all honesty that after 2 weeks taking the supplements, my mobility problems are not as bad as they used to. The constant pain in my legs is almost gone, and now I can get up from a chair on my own without the help of a cane. My back pain has also decreased significantly and my acid reflux is now nothing but a bad memory. I have also lost weight despite not having decreased my caloric intake. If that's not helping me then I don't know what is, because I have not taken any other medicines except for my high blood pressure. i am definitively staying on this for the foreseeable future.
Could you let us know your age? And if you have any new findings after these months?
Hey can you speak to NR vs NMN since you took both? I can vouch for NR, at 900mg a day its night and day. Beyond what might be resulting from a placebo effect. I am thinking about going to NMN but NR is so nice that I kinda am loathe to switch without knowing if NMN is better

@@johnnye6090 Well you should buy a bulk bag of powder. And I take maybe 500mg a day. I place the powder directly under my tongue and try to absorb that way. Then I wash the rest down with water. Its that simple. I found that taking more than 500mg is not really necessary, maybe 750mg. NMN will give you better thought clarity (brain function) and energy. But for longevity I am not sure NMN is too effective, it certainly helps with brain fog and makes your mind a great deal sharper and you have more energy and improved mood. I would recommend Fisetin monthly at 3g a day for 3 days straight....do that monthly if you want to extend lifespan and healthspan. I also take CA-AKG 1800mg a day. This helps with muscle retention and tone and endurance. All of that together is quite potent and I feel great on it.

No one said it was a Superman potion. If it fucking slows aging the benefits won’t be noticed in a few months, but more a few years, and will be quite worth, even if not noticed at all. The point is you *wont* notice the significance of the years.

I originally bought some from USA back in 2017. Then sourced my product from China, as my research stated that the product was also sourced from China. To ensure all was good, I had the product tested in a NATA Accredited Australian Laboratory for purity and heavy metals. As the cost of testing was $800, I purchased a larger initial quantity to make the total cost per day reasonable. I was since tabletised the extra material and selling the surplus in ebay under Restore-U. Clear bottle with gold screw cap.

Btw, you should look into the instability of NMN. Raw NMN degrades rapidly when exposed. You need to get it cold processed then coated.

To improve the stability of NMN internally, researchers creatively developed a new NMN with orderly and compact microscopic arrangement (Figure 2: length: 3㎛-10㎛), and exclusively launched a new generation of high-density NMN. Compared with the sawtooth structure of first generation NMN product the second generation NMN has two incomparable advantages:
Stronger stability, longer shelf life. The NMN spatial arrangement of new NMN form is more orderly and compact, effectively blocking the contact with free water in the air, greatly increasing the stability of NMN and extending the shelf life of the product. Contrary to the novel NMN microscopic arrangement, the first generation sawtooth structure shows more disorder and incompact, thus every molecule will get more exposure to air and absorb more water.
Higher density, more stable dosage and flexible formulation. NMN with an orderly and compact microscopic arrangement has higher bulk density and fluidity, which avoids unstable dosage due to raising dust in the process of preparation. What's more, it will affect uniform dosage of capsules. Meanwhile, since it has better fluidity, the second generation NMN can help reduce the production period and the manufacturing cost during the production.

Resveratrol and Nmn go together like coffee and water, I have been doing both for the last 6 months with great results such as energy, focus like really waken feel and endurance, body fat levels have dropped which is also because I eat healthier and I work out more because I feel the energy, also added metformin on the days that I don’t work out, I have tried it on work out days and is a struggle, so I take metformin only 3 times a week. So far expecting to live forever, by 10 years they will have something better and will upgrade to that, but I just like to wait so this is the next best thing, cheers everyone!!

One thing I noticed on myself after taking NMN is that I don't get cold feet anymore. I used to have cold feet before on a weekly basis in a room with low temperature and after taking NMN for just a week I don't get cold feet anymore even at the same low temperature.
How do you know which NMN is a legit source? there are so many people selling it but we all know not all is legit. Have you found one that shows it is legit like a reputable company? if so please share.
dontworry834 There are three ways to know if it is legit or not.
1. Try it yourself and see if you notice any changes about your behavior and compare that to what others are noticing.
2. Test the product in an independent lab if you have a spare 1200€ lying around.
3. Ask the company you bought it from for some proof of authenticity such as independent lab test results.

A cheap test of skin elasticity is to pinch some skin one inch behind the knuckle of your hand whilst your hand is held flat on a table; then time how long it takes to return to it's original flat position. The older you are biophysiologically, the longer it takes to snap back. Kid's skin snaps right back.
