There is actually a level higher than diamond. This is lifetime diamond. There is no requirement to ever requalify. This level is given by Hilton at their discretion. Not advertised.
Also note the difference between nights and stays. It is 60 nights for platinum but only 30 stays. Book two single nights for a two night stays, 3 single nights for three night stay. The desk can make sure you stay in the same room in the notes. Like he said be nice. Also, when doing business travel (in my case to see clients), don’t stay in one hotel. Map out your meetings an get hotel rooms close. 4 nights should be 4 stays. Result of these two hacks: I first earned diamond with only 32 nights but had 30 stays.
Great video. Update really depends who's behind the desk. The best upgrade I ever had was at Conrad Fort Lauderdale. He upgraded me to 2 bedroom ocean front suite.
New to Hilton. I stay at MGM alot in Las Vegas. I see they have the Tropicana on the strip. If I stay there every time I go is it similar to MGM where I will get free comps? Right now I get 100$ food and 50 Free play, plus pretty much free rooms.
Comped rooms at Las Vegas is a whole other topic, most hotels in Vegas will give there frequent guests perks because they make most of their money from gambling
You can earn Hilton Points by staying at Hilton properties or with a Hilton cobranded credit card. Some credit cards like the American Express will allow you to transfer points to your Hilton rewards account.

I would probably say Hilton. They have more properties worldwide. It is also pretty easy to get Hilton status through different credit cards

Yes you would earn Hilton points through your Hilton Amex card

You would just need to call customer service and have their Hilton Honors membership cards info
