Cell Viability and Proliferation Assay with PrestoBlue

This is a protocol video (Cell Block) on how to perform a cell viability analysis using PrestoBlue (Invitrogen).
PrestoBlue indicates cell viability and proliferation by converting resazurin into resorufin. Resazurin, a non-fluorescent dye, is converted into highly fluorescent resorufin through reduction reactions in metabolically active cells. It is non-toxic, light-sensitive, and can be measured by fluorescence or absorbance.
