  • (English Translation) In this video, we will be talking about the "heatmaps" offered within the CbioPortal for Cancer Genomics platform. "Heatmaps" is a type of graphical tool to visualize differences in expression levels of a collection of genes or enrichment of a set of proteins or metabolites between different biological groups. In this video, we will explain the use of its settings panels, how to manage the different tools offered, and how to identify and query specific genes within these maps on this platform.
This video was prepared by the undergraduate students Yaire Morales and Lizbeth Barreto from the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico, Aguadilla Campus (IAUPR). Dr. Elizabeth Padilla-Crespo from IAUPR served as their mentor.
