What about the ethics of using AI? What about the morality of using AI? Embracing AI is embracing removing jobs that people love to do. That is the biggest problem I have with AI, it replaces creative activities that people love to do. Technology should only replace tasks we hate to do, not creative activities that are a big part of being human. AI dehumanizes us.

Lol there i came here after seeing a guy's video of a graphic designer who worked for 6 years in a company over the years he was left the only one and then 4 months before he was fired he wasnt given much tasks at all he says. Worked for 2 hours a day only 7 hour shifts it was good, then he got fired cause ai can do his job, he goes on a rant about ai bad etc but it all comes down to his college degree is mostly useless he has no useful skill anymore. My opinion is if you are a young guy who went to college within 10-15 years you should have known this was inevitable beacause it was forseen but of course ai wasnt there yet so they lied to you guys offerd you good paying jons knowing you had NO FUTURE.

I think the people who learn to integrate and use AI to improve their work and workflow will be the winners.

While it may improve and take jobs in the far future, unless I'm missing something in regards to web development I don't see what the AI tools have solved yet. It doesn't produce any unique UI's for mock ups. Most of the designs it comes up with are similar if not worse than the 1000s of html templates / themes already on envato.
The code it's safely capable of are usually already featured as transitions or built in to the page builders in some way. Other builders such as Wix and Squarespace are so easy that they already took some work from designers who's clients thought they'd just have a go themselves. I don't think AI has increased the amount of people willing to have a go themselves.
The immediate problem I'm thinking of is the amount of junior web developers it makes obsolete as a lot of their work is small coding tasks which AI is pretty good at. Instead of going down the company route and training they might just decide to freelance / set up their business. So I anticipate a saturated market becoming even more so. So in the end it might come down to who's the best at selling their service. Which I guess is what this channel is about.

Use it to your own advantage. It might be good for a while

It’s a kick up the backside. IMHO web design isn’t something we should feel comfortable doing forever. Technology will eventually catch up and render us pointless. Make money making websites while we can and start other businesses with that cash and our skills
