# 11 that’s why you should have some space between cars and not ride on someone’s bumper. Just in case they stop suddenly, you’ll have time to stop also.
2:01 This is possibly the cammer's mistake - depending on when the light for the opposing cars actually turned red. Even if they did run the red, they were already established in the intersection, and (depending on the state laws) had the right of way.
Correct. When your light turns green you must wait for vehicles already in the intersection to clear before proceeding. Traffic laws and insurance fault determination rules are clear on this.
@@warrenduree9417: I agree. But if the cammer had driven into the car blocking the intersection and caused a collision, the cammer would be 100% at fault because the onus is on them to wait until the intersection is clear, no matter if a driver earns a traffic infraction before he collides with them.
#11 - Try practicing defensive driving. You shouldn't be only looking at the car directly ahead of you. As another poster pointed out, as high up as you were, traffic ahead of this car was clearly visible.
6:58 He calls the other driver 'Human waste' yet he refuses to just slow down a bit and let them pull out. But I kind of understand that some people aren't thinking and are just making a split decision to stop or go. But honestly is you being late to work or someone needing medical assistance more important?
Just more proof that cammers are a$$holes. Many accidents are He Said She Said situations, and the one person with video evidence to help determine fault just takes off without a care in the world. Very self-centered.
For a crash like that? What's the point? Pretty unlikely anyone was injured at those speeds, it's very obvious who was at fault, and they're in the middle of a densely populated area so there's no danger of anyone being stranded without help.
5:15. Just... wow. Yes, I nearly ran a car off the road trying to get my exit, now let me double down on my bad decision and cross TWO lanes at the last minute to get that exit!
I’m thinking it was to show the truck attempting to lay down a smoke screen. It didn’t look like black smoke or “rolling coal.” It looked more bluish in color, so I’d guess it is burning oil.
@@GhostDrummer I think the color was just due to the angle of the sun. Later in the clip (when you can see further behind the truck) you can see it quickly evaporating and turning transparent. So it was probably submitted by a California driver unaware that cold temps cause water vapor in the exhaust to condense into fog. And the effect is more pronounced when the engine hasn't warmed up yet and is still cold.
5:50 mark.... Absolutely could have avoided the semi, but you needed to assert your dominance! Hopefully, you were found at fault for this accident because you clearly could have avoided it! @@hughgolo8660 The fact that this was avoidable by the cammer means it won't be 100% on the truck. My guess is 80/20 with the semi having more fault because the cammer was established in the lane.

I think that's it. That's a cracked head gasket, which is the ring of rubber that keeps the engine oil from mixing into the gasoline. Very expensive to fix due to the amount of labor.
The cammer could have moved over and kept going. The cammer 100% insisted on the right of way. Sometimes you have to yield the right of way. In this case judging by the other semi in the left turn lane ahead at the light, I'm sure this is a common exit for semi trucks, and there may be a built up area or industrial area to the left where they make deliveries. Two seconds of courtesy could have avoided it all cammer.
3:08 I feel like that is one of those situations where the dashcam footage would be HIGHLY appreciated, as it is a good situation for the at fault party (the truck) to try an blame the victim

The cammer is not at fault, for there very likely could have been (and appears to be) a car to their side. If they were to move over, they would hit that car, and THEN they would be at fault for that accident. However, the truck is the one at fault for hitting them. The camper is not at fault in my eyes. 4:39 If only all of you would know how to maintain a proper distance on the highway, for highway speed. A good example is presented at 5:12 (of course, don't change lanes like that guy did moments later). But that is a proper distance to the car in front, at that speed, not less.
The dude in #2 probably aided in that guy's crash. Flashing your brights might have caused the guy to be distracted in an already crappy winter driving situation......
6:18 From what I see, I'd hate Houston drivers with my whole heart as well. Particularly those who tailgate people who obviously are trying to change lanes.
2:01 #6 The white car was over the limit line before the cammer's light turned green so you can't say based on the video that they ran the red. Also, if there was a collision the cammer would be 100% at fault because the cammer was at a complete stop when it was apparent that the white car was going to cross his path and then he proceeded to go knowing that he would drive into the white car.
The driver in the white car could see that traffic in the lane they were turning into was backed up and they would be unable to clear the intersection but chose to go anyway. Dumb.
Love how this video full of CAMMERS that can't seem to grasp the following: - Moving over - The brake pedal - Coommon sense Gotta say, this is a first. 😆

0:11 - A car in front of you is drifting into your lane, do you a) tap the brakes and fall back a bit or b) hold down the horn and accelerate? 1:33 - funny description - is getting "your turn" really worth risking your car by driving into oncoming traffic? 4:31 - learn your lesson about flying past cars on the right? 8:14 - I think there was more going on there than just lifting in a turn, you weren't going that fast.
For number 2 I was about to make a joke about how they don't have 4wd and then they seriously said it. I always forget people think 4wd is an instant fix all for winter.
3:42 - Comments like this canmers to the effect of ‘well the guy in front of me wasn’t paying attention and slammed on the brakes last minute causing me to slam on the brakes, along with the guy behind me resulting in the rear end.’ This Bugs the crap out of me. Like it’s the fault of the driver in front of him that caused it to happen. No sir, you are responsible for your own driving and this is your fault, in the sense of braking late. Not your fault for being rear ended that’s on the guy behind you. But they were Probably another follow the leader driver too. There’s too many of these types of drivers on the road nowadays because the DMV gives licenses to everyone who has a birthdate. Just some food for thought: A.) You shouldn’t drive playing the follow the leader game. Don’t drive relying on the car in front of you to be paying attention. You should drive looking not only at the car in front of you but also 200 ft past that car as well so you can identify possible issues and stop in time. The person in front of you is not responsible for informing you that traffic is stopping. I actually watch 1-2 cars in front of the car I am directly behind and when they begin to brake so do I. Sometimes I’m braking well before the car directly in front of me. B.) Cammer seems to be in a truck which sits higher than the other cars on the road, cammer could easily see that traffic was slowing and could have reacted faster if he wasn’t zoning out and playing follow the leader. This is just inattentive lazy driving because you have the visibility to see much further ahead than the car directly in front you. If you’re in a car, get into a position where you can see further ahead. C.) leave enough space between you and the car in front of you so you can slow gradually vs. slamming on your brakes, especially if you have a car behind you tailgating. Again, not the cammers fault for the accident but the Cammer could have potentially avoided the accident by paying attention to more than the car in front him and leaving more space between them so he could brake gradually vs slamming on the brakes.
6:19 it just blows my mind how people don't think to accelerate rather then hitting the brakes. They could have easily push the gas pedal down a little bit more, and gotten in front of the truck instead they hit the brakes almost causing a rear ending.
That would have been better, though it wouldn't have almost caused a rear end colision if the camer was keeping more then one second of following distance. I can't even calculate the following distance once the other car slows down, camer is _really_ close then and maintains it till the car merges.
@@scottthewaterwarrior I see the cammers problem....the little blue car was trying to merge to his other left and had them confused leading up to the close quarters action! LOL

I love how some of these cammers don't bother to stop, even though they can, when an accident happens literally right in front of them..... And not just because you have the accident on video, but it's the decent human thing to do, to stop and make sure everyone is OK. Smh 🤦♂️

Clip 6:00, that truck is just dusting for mosquitos (more likely a blown head gasket or cracked cylinder head). Also more than likely, the owner will ignore it until the engines blows due to lack of oil or extreme over-heating.
4:01 Maybe try the horn next time to alert the driver of your presence. Or tap the brakes and let them in. Either of them would have saved you time instead of just moving to the other lane and eating the curb.
3:47 What do you mean the guy in front of you waited till the last second to brake? Your camera captured at least 4 vehicles in front of you whose brake lights were clearly activated and visible on your camera that should have warned you. You weren't paying attention is why you had the accident.

@@neutralcommenter7800 Yeah, especially when a normal human, driving in those conditions (1) probably wouldn't be doing 85 to begin with and (2) would slow down instead of speeding up and wedging in between said guardrail and the other stupid driver just to prove a point.
I watched a few of these videos, earlier, then gave my granddaughter a ride to a ball game. I was almost paranoid, watching all cars around me, the whole trip, just waiting for someone to mess up. But all went well.
3:48 uhhh, no. Car in front didn't "slam" on any brakes, they gradually slowed to a stop. If YOU slammed on your brakes, that's YOUR problem.
5:46 nothin like purposefully running into a semi just to spite him for changing lanes when he shouldn't have (might've been in his blind spot, who knows). LOL people
# 11 that’s why you should have some space between cars and not ride on someone’s bumper. Just in case they stop suddenly, you’ll have time to stop also.
2:01 This is possibly the cammer's mistake - depending on when the light for the opposing cars actually turned red. Even if they did run the red, they were already established in the intersection, and (depending on the state laws) had the right of way.
That may be true but the person in white car needs better situational awareness to know if they can clear the intersection in time.
Yes they were fully established in the intersection, stopped in it in fact, blocking both lanes of cross traffic.
Correct. When your light turns green you must wait for vehicles already in the intersection to clear before proceeding. Traffic laws and insurance fault determination rules are clear on this.
No one ever has the right of way to gridlock the intersection... no matter what color the signal is.
Sure they should have wanted for the cammer to go by but a little of driving courtesy instead of continuing to plow forward and almost hit them is better and not ruin your lunch hour an wrecking both cars. Cammer's a tool.
3:00 Does no one ever stop to offer assistance or be a witness nowadays? I feel this used to be a given, maybe I’m just old-fashioned.
I mean if you see crash and there is no one to help yet then you should, especially if you have a dashcam so you can provide footage.
A lot of these obviously had little to no injuries, with obvious fault. You could call 911 on your way out, though.
@@darrennew8211 Yeah, I’ve done that in cases where I was either unable or not comfortable with stopping. (Called 911, that is.)
And come within inches of killing myself against the barrier!

4:30 That was your own fault, you shouldn't have sped up to block the other person from changing lanes.
5:57 #18 did I miss something from this clip? I watched it a couple times.

Semi was indicating left the entire time, but the idiot cammer just went there anyway...
@@hughgolo8660 It is very difficult to determine distance when looking in a mirror and the truck can't just keep looking in their mirror 100 % of the time. @@hughgolo8660 The fact that this was avoidable by the cammer means it won't be 100% on the truck. My guess is 80/20 with the semi having more fault because the cammer was established in the lane.

I watched #18 thrice, but have no idea what's going on. Is this an "omg look at the exhaust coming out of this truck video"?

Definitely could have switched lanes in my opinion. Unless there was a vehicle there and couldn’t switch lanes.
@@Bigbonkyyy Definitely could have hit the brakes.

5:45 Cammer 100% at fault. Don't be this person.
True that about the cammer .
The cammer is not at fault, for there very likely could have been (and appears to be) a car to their side. If they were to move over, they would hit that car, and THEN they would be at fault for that accident. However, the truck is the one at fault for hitting them. The camper is not at fault in my eyes. @@pakcheesy2 The cammer is very much at fault, because he never tried to brake during that whole time.
Dumb.

4:31 - learn your lesson about flying past cars on the right?
8:14 - I think there was more going on there than just lifting in a turn, you weren't going that fast.
From the sound the car starts to slide slightly before they lifted too.
Just some food for thought:
A.) You shouldn’t drive playing the follow the leader game.
Especially with the cammer tight up his *ss.
LOL
