I don't care what people say I want this game to have a reboot and I want them to do the last two aod games Kurtis was a interesting character and I like him and Lara as a duo.
me too, awesome character, i want to know how he survived that boaz incident. only he could control the disk of his. would've been so cool to know what shape he was in by the end.
@@xenthejackal I believe it is open to interpretation. You're right there was no mention of Lara learning about Karel and possibly the developers forgot to have Lara learn about him, but I strongly think they wanted us to be shocked that all this time it was Karel that technically is the enemy. However, If you remember during the scene in Prague with Lara and Luddick meeting and how he showed Lara pictures of Bouchard and Eckhardt, what he was showing her was members of the Cabal which include the enemies Muller, Karel, Kristina Boaz, Bouchard, and Gunderson. It is safe to assume even though the only pictures we saw were Bouchard and Eckhardt that the rest of the members and their information were shown as well to her. I mean, Luddick did say he knows less about Eckhardt than the others. Obviously, the camera only focused on Bouchard and Eckhardt. Lara possibly did take a good look at everyone and who was involved and that is how she knew and recognized Karel. Unknown to her that he is the mastermind.

7:50 just seeing her face reaction when she saw him change into Kurtis was so heartbreaking as she's just shocked. Which lead to fans to wonder if all this Time Karel was Kurtis and lead her to him to begin with, but it was proven obviously Kurtis is a separate person and Karel is just a mind twisting evil man.
It makes no sense, though. The question whether he disguised himself as Kurtis or not remains open - because, if he was cabaple of doing it, why wouldn't he? And the whole way it was shown in that unfinished game is totally pointless. In that scene he shows her he was suppose to be Kurtis, 2 scenes next at the end she takes his weapon which is leading her to his apparently whereabout. No question if that was Karel showed her was true, and obviously she suddenly knows the trues. Fans even collected evidences that Kurtis couldn't be Karel. But they are not quite convincing. At any rate, we can only hope it wasn't meant to be true and Kurtis should have been part of the planed sequels since it would be a horrible idea that you were playing the super villian disguised as somebody else for three levels.
No, he was simply messing with her. Obviously, Prague Kurtis and Karel are two different people because when Kurtis was talking with Lara, Karel and Eckard were watching them. So, the question is whether Paris Kurtis was Karel. Still, Kurtis remembered his interraction with Lara at the Lourve *and* has been freely using the Chirugai. So, for the Kurtis=Karel theory to be true, we'd need to make a huge leap of faith with Karel knowing how to use the Chirugai after somehow taking it from Kurtis with whom he shares the same telekinetic powers. Also, Kurtis would have to somehow know what transpired at the Lourve without being there. I believe that this fan club has conducted an inteview with the AoD story writer. He said that everyone survives minus Eckard (and Muller, Boaz, the Proto, Bouchard...well, that was a broadly incorret statement) and that Kurtis has gone under a coma so that his body can preserve him. But back on point, they are definitely not the same person.
@@aaronw.9910 3 years later after my comment and still into the game and reading practically everything about it. It was already confirmed Kurtis was going to be in the trilogy of angel of darkness. The plot was okay but no more incredible than any of Natla's schemes. The game play didn't live up to the hype - in fact it wasn't anything they said it would be and the "getting stronger" inclusion was an irritating inclusion.
The only reason Tomb Raider AoD isn't my favorite out of all the Tomb Raider games is because we had to use Kurtis for a good part of the game. I, personally, really disliked that. I wanted to use only Lara. It was a good game anyway, the fact that I had to use Kurtis wasn't even that big of a deal, but I also didn't mind that he died. Anyway, my favorite Tomb Raider is the Last Revelation. Can't wait for Tomb Raider in 2013!!!

what happend to kurtis
I don't think he died I think he lived and left. If he really died then his body would still be on the same place he got stabbed but it isn't there his item shows Lara either the exit or kurtis
u guys if u want to read a really good TRAOD sequel then go to the fanfiction website and search "slouching toward bethlehem".
I actually found a fanfic on an app called Wattpad. It's called "Tomb Raider : the golden seal". It's part one of a sequel trilogy.
Btw thnx for the suggestion! 🙌

Wait a minute, I can remeber when Kurtis said "Ms. Croft". But later he asked for her name. Thats confusing. xD
Nope he never asked for a name. Lara told him herself.
@Caah4333 I know, Bro. So depressing :(
haha fail at about 4:50 the model of fat boaz diasppeares as the little one flies up
The plot was okay but no more incredible than any of Natla's schemes. The game play didn't live up to the hype - in fact it wasn't anything they said it would be and the "getting stronger" inclusion was an irritating inclusion.
nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
@britneycroft he's dead
Way to miss the point.
uh in english please
The only reason Tomb Raider AoD isn't my favorite out of all the Tomb Raider games is because we had to use Kurtis for a good part of the game. I, personally, really disliked that. I wanted to use only Lara. It was a good game anyway, the fact that I had to use Kurtis wasn't even that big of a deal, but I also didn't mind that he died. Anyway, my favorite Tomb Raider is the Last Revelation. Can't wait for Tomb Raider in 2013!!!
